This was a challenging course but highly informative!
I have been practicing coding for 2 months now and this is the first time I see any improvement from my side. So excited to see what I can do in the future! Highly recommend SheCodes foundation.
As someone who had tried and failed to learn coding on my own, this course was such a huge help. I was able to follow along, rewind the parts I was confused about, reach out for help, and felt like I was accomplishing things I had never understood before. Not only does Matt Delac challenge you to experiment, but he shows you how to code in a way that truly helps the concepts make sense.
I was a product engineer with background in chemical engineering but I was not enjoying what I was doing. I'd recently quit my job and that when I found SheCodes. During the workshops I found that I was enjoying the class and even though some things were challenging, finding out how the answers to those questions was part of the fun. I can't wait to see what I can achieve with what I've learned. Thank you SheCodes!!

SheCodes Responsive was both challenging and fun with all the material taught by Matt. With everything that I am learning, I am slowly becoming more confident in my skills of web development. Each lesson feels like I am in a classroom with a teacher, and the SheCodes team are always there to help whenever needed. I feel more excited to continue my coding journey with SheCodes.

Initially going in to this project I thought I had a good understanding of coding through past experiences of self-teachings. However, after taking this course I have been able to gain a greater comprehension of past teachings than perviously, whilst understanding why certain value inputs are actioned. I have learnt more tips, tricks, gained more confidence in coding in my spare time, and now have successfully gained 3 completed projects.
I started learning on SheCodes a year ago now, and I can't believe how much I've learned since then. Thank you to the entire SheCodes team :).
I haven't been this into coding since MySpace swept the internet. SheCodes has reignited my excitement for coding, and has me very excited to start a career in tech!

This workshop was very enjoyable to me. It helped me get familiar with coding and different languages.
The lessons were built up nicely so you keep building on top of what you have done in the previous lesson. It was really cool and I'm looking forward to the next ones. But keep in mind, that it´s heavily on the website development side.
I started my coding journey with SheCodes Basics, and I couldn't get enough. SheCodes Pro has been more challenging but equally fun! I look forward to continuing learning supported by the amazing team at SheCodes. SheCodes Responsive, here I come.

Matt takes the time to show you step by step how to build your project. He also takes the time to explain why things work the way they do. He corrects his own project from video to video when he finds a better solution or understands a mistake he did. It is a very human and interactive way to teach. The challenges can be very frustrating and test your patience but once you find a solution and your project work it is very exciting and gives a Christmas-like feeling🥳 ! Really enjoyed the whole workshop.

This was a pretty solid course for getting an overall view about making a website. On top of the comprehensive overview of the three coding languages involved, I also felt like I got a better sense of how the workflow might run for projects like our homework assignments or challenges. While I might still need references to a guide for some details, I've gained an enthusiasm to learning how to code for myself, which is something I don't think would have come easily for me otherwise. The course also made me have a greater appreciation for people who create visually-appealing websites, because having an ability to code doesn't automatically equate to having a good design sense needed for those pages.
So proud of my weather app. I had such a great time working on it and developing it step by step. Looking forward to my next projects!
I love the way the course was built. Not only you get code snippets and demos, there are also videos with Matt explaining on every topic. The course is really engaging, you get a lot of practise due to the homeworks. By the way, SheCodes is the only platform I saw that actually has people to review your homework and help with any questions in Slack. Such a great educational source and helpful community!

This workshop was a really challenging and enriching experience for me. I was able to learn the necessary skills and even create a weather app from scratch. It was incredibly rewarding to see my efforts come to fruition and have a tangible project to showcase. Beyond the technical skills, the workshop also taught me the importance of perseverance and helped me to further develop my problem-solving skills. Great workshop to learn how to make your projects responsive!
SheCodes React Workshop has given me a lot of experience. In under six weeks, I learned a lot about React and then utilised it to build a weather app using JSX components, axios, and NPM packages. I discovered how to create functional components, and how React handles state management throughout the lifespan of a program. It encouraged me to continue my education and create a web development project. I'm eager to move forward with my journey.
It was an incredible experience and I had an opportunity to learn the basics which i believe it will make it a bit easier for me to do the hard things. I would recommend SheCodes to every girl that wants to enter the tech industry.
It feels very rewarding to be able to combine all skills I've learned so far, and to apply some creative touches to my very first portfolio site!
