A great project for additional responsive development practice
The Basics Add-on was awesome! It helped build from the skills developed in the Basics workshop. Also, it was great to help retain information that I thought I would have forgotten but didn't. Getting that little extra practice in and also adding some really cool elements to what I already knew was really neat to see.

Thank you for this exciting 4-week workshop for women - SheCodes Responsive - where I could build my own responsive website-portfolio using new-gaind knowledge of creating multiple pages static sites, flex box, responsive grids, images, navigation and testing, live server and media queries. And at the end I did my site SEO friendly. It's cool! ✌ Matt is a very talented instructor and teacher! He can explain complicated topics in a very clear and simple way. And his perfectionism is a big plus! And it's very nice that the whole SheCodes team understands that women are always busy and gives them enough support, time and extensions to solve training challenges and create their projects.

I am so happy I decided to try to learn how to code. I never thought it would be easy, but the course is designed for anyone who has never tried to code. The instructor Matt Delac is so informative, and the lesson is taught step by step. If you're undecided about joining, rest assured that you won't regret it.
I’ve always wanted to do something tech based. Ever since I was little I was always taking things apart and putting them back together and really learning and understanding how things worked and me being the person that I am I looked for ways to advance those things and what better way than to do that then with coding. Learning code has been a fun and challenging experience for me and I love it.

I'm a full-time employee, a mom of two toddlers, and an woman who struggles to find any spare moments in my day. I'm so proud of the skills I have developed through this program. Learning the basics of React was fun to learn. In order to advanced my skills in React, I will continue to learn the native language and practice coding.
This workshop was definitely a challenging experience for me. Throughout the workshop, I encountered many new concepts and found myself facing several obstacles. However, I am grateful for the assistance and support that was readily available to help me overcome these challenges. Moreover, the lessons were presented in a clear and concise manner, which made it easy for me to grasp and understand the content.
I learned a lot about how to make a website responsive during this workshop. I now feel that I have a strong knowledge base to make any project responsive!

This was a great course to get to grips with the basics of coding. The instructor is really excellent at delivering the lessons without the material becoming too overwhelming. He has a way of anticipating the questions you are probably going to ask and answering them before you need to ask. It is challenging - there is a sense that the website really is there to help train women and not just make money. The layout of the course is really excellent too. There is a lot of information, but it is presented in a way that offers help where it is needed. I would highly recommend this course for those curious about coding and those who want to take it further for a possible career.
I have taken quite a number of courses but struggled with understanding and completing them. With SheCodes I had a different experience, our Tutor Matt made it so easy to understand all the concepts and I never had to battle with imposter syndrome like I did in the previous courses I took. I had a feeling I could understand all the concepts and I did, let’s not even talk about the lovely choice of colors that the SheCodes website has that is alluring and just makes you always want to visit at the thought of it.
