I'm so glad I continued on after taking the SheCodes Basics course. I absolutely loved the structure of SheCodes Plus and planned to continue on all the way through both the Pro and Max courses. I feel like I have found what I really enjoy doing as it's a mix of creativity and organization. I'm always excited to learn new things and Matt has designed these courses in a way that really speaks to my learning style.

My experience with SheCodes was terrific. Especially the way Matt explains the concepts is clear, and everything is practical. That made the learning fun. I didn't want to work on the web front-end before SheCodes because I thought the properties were complicated. But now I am having fun learning and coding.

This course has made learning so easy. I have been able to complete it while working full time, and caring for two children under the age of 2. The course set up is fun and ideal for learning at your own speed.
These past weeks with Matt have been so stressful and helpful all at the same time. I have started understanding code in a literal sense and can't wait for the following weeks and learning more.

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus program, and what a ride it has been! Building upon the foundation I gained in the SheCodes Basics and Basics Add-On courses, SheCodes Plus took my coding skills to a whole new level. The curriculum was comprehensive, covering a wide range of topics including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and more. The hands-on projects allowed me to apply my knowledge and gain practical experience in a supportive learning environment. 🐈⬛
I really did not think I would get the hang of coding. However, I have created a whole page and it works. I cannot believe it!
A great workshop which takes you through the process of coding your first responsive website by using Bootstrap, SEO optimisation and adding links. Highly recommended for everybody who is looking to learn how to code in an efficient way.

SheCodes Basic is the perfect introduction course to HTML, CSS and JavaScript! The instructor explains each language in a way that's easy to understand and follow. The challengers were super fun to do. It's exciting to see the code come to life in the web browser! I recommend this to graphic designers like me who want to venture further into web design 😄
I took this coding workshop with little to no knowledge about coding and this workshop has taught me the basics of HTML,CSS and JavaScript. I was surprised at how much I was able to learn in only 3 weeks ,and I owe it all to the amazing instructor, Matt. His content and videos were incredibly helpful and made coding seem much less intimidating. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in learning how to code.

It's my 3rd week here and I've learnt so much! I would 100% recommend SheCodes.
I joined Shecodes March/April. I did not know much about coding, i always wanted to know how to code. Shecodes showed me that it is not a Rocket science anyone willing to learn can do it, One must have a "can do attitude"yes, it is challenging but doable. Shecodes is a go for organisation if you want to learn coding.
SheCodes Basics is the perfect workshop for anyone getting back into coding or trying to figure out if coding is their cup of tea! I enjoyed every lesson and the challenges were engaging and allowed me to be creative while putting what I've learned into practice! I currently have a full time job but the pace of the workshop was perfect for me and I did not feel overwhelmed by the weekly homework! Matthieu explained each lesson in a way that was easy to grasp and apply to each homework and to my final project! I am excited to be taking the SheCodes Plus workshop next and cannot wait to see where this journey takes me!

And when you understand that something is not so easy, he just say "Yeah, it's a lot of work, but I think it's fun" and you just smile and continue. This course is so well organized and Matt explains everything in a way that is easily understood. Unlike other courses there is always a fast way for me to solve any issue or problem I faced by reaching out on slack or going back to watch the videos. I did not feel "stuck" at any point in the basics course.
Although this course was challenging I really learned a lot. I'm grateful for the opportunity SheCodes has given me to learn a new skill and empower myself!
It is a great course. I enjoy it a lot. I knew nothing about coding and how I can say that I have the basic knowledge of what coding is. Everything is is well explain and if there is any question all the member and staff help. It was a pleasure.
What I loved most about this class was the freedom to work at my own pace. As a busy individual with various commitments, being able to structure my learning around my schedule was a game-changer. The class was designed in a way that allowed me to revisit topics, spend more time on challenging areas, and truly absorb the information without feeling pressured. This flexibility empowered me to take ownership of my learning journey and ensured that I derived the maximum benefit from the course.

I have been dreaming of coding but unfortunately I was able to never able to pursue this due to lack of resources. This workshop has made me understand more how React works. React has been the most challenging part of all SheCodes Max course but I think I will definitely search for more courses on React. I'm really happy and excited to have this experience. I was a bit scared and insecure, didn't believe that I can manage such a complicated task. Nevertheless, the course is organised in very easy way, so with each next lesson I got involved deeper and figured out that I really like it! I am so proud of myself! At first the languages and work can be confusing as a beginner however there is an incredible network of advanced and first time coders who offer support- we each learn from each other so it made understanding and completing tasks easier. Consistency and the drive to not want to give up made it easier, I am proud to have taken part in this program to have learned new skills .My journey into tech is well on its way.
This was awesome! 3 weeks ago, I knew NOTHING of coding, and wow, I just created my own landing page! Thanks so much to Matt and the SheCodes Team! What a wonderful experience!

I highly recommend SheCodes if you are looking to learn to code. The structure of the course is flexible but also gives you goals to work towards, this allows it to fit my life and learning style. The lessons were taught in a easy to follow way. Matt does a great job of explaining things and making you think. The slack channel is a great resource for getting help with your assignments. Coding is fun in a challenging way, I really enjoy it! I look forward to continuing on with the next course.
The course was awesome and more practical. Each lesson piqued my interest in web development and answered some of the questions I had about websites. The classes are short which makes it easier for one to process the information and understand the concepts, more specifically JavaScript.

After completing SheCodes Basics, I feel empowered to create simple websites. I enjoyed how clear the instruction in the videos was. I also appreciated the added notes of code at the bottom of each lesson. The order in which the topics are taught - HTML, then CSS, then JS - sat well with my brain and helped me ease into the world of coding!

I learned so much more in Responsive that I thought I would. I feel so proud of myself for creating a portfolio that is responsive and now I know how to see what my webpage looks like across different mobile devices. Matt is a very thorough instructor and he makes me laugh with his jokes and talking to himself. I would recommend anyone who is looking to learn more in front-end development to take this workshop.
