Shecodes helped me take my first steps into the world of coding
Ever since joining the SheCodes Foundation I strongly believe that it will open up t many possibilities for my future. I am excited to continue growing those skills and knowledge. All Thanks to Matt Delac, his team and all my fellow students
I've enjoyed the SheCodes basics course way more than I expected - so much so that I plan to upgrade to pro! Matt is a great teacher and I love the format of short videos with embedded challenges. It's so much easier to focus and to practise skills straight away rather than watching long videos and trying to remember everything. Would highly recommend.
Once again, I learned so much in just a few weeks! A fantastic course. It left me feeling like I had the tools to continue working in React and build my portfolio. So glad I went for the add-on course!
This was highly challenging for me, but Matt does a fantastic job explaining everything so well. Also, it felt like a support group because Matt would say " I know, I know, React is hard when it's your first time coming across it", so that was comforting. Made me feel at ease, like at least I'm not the only one finding React challenging. Thank you to Matt and his team.
This was a fantastic add on to what we covered in Basics. It really added some clever tricks to what we have learned previously.

In retrospect, the SheCodes.io programming course provided a comprehensive and practical learning experience. With a multitude of exercises, I acquired valuable skills in HTML and JavaScript. The emphasis on real-world application enhanced my confidence and proficiency in coding. Overall, the course offered a commendable learning environment and significantly enriched my programming acumen.

This course was really fun, I really enjoyed learning how to build a webpage.
This was a nice and gentle start to my coding journey. Matt made it easy to follow along and it overall wasn't overwhelming.
The final project here is chosen wisely. After creating it I realised how constant practice and learning help in achieving the amazing results. Not long time ago I was surprised when the phrase "Hello, World!" appeared on the white screen after writing it in the HTML. Now, thanks to the SheCodes, I created the personal site-portfolio. Of course, I have a long way to go. There are many things to learn, to master, there will be ups and downs. I realised that programming is not only about the skills, it`s about the mindset. It`s about perseverance, problem solving, steadiness. Programming can be very frustrating, but it is incredibly rewarding too. The She Codes Responsive workshop for me is the stage when it seems like you know a lot, but in reality you discover that there are more and more techniques, which can make the sites more comfortable to use, more user-friendly and responsive. Everything can be improved. So, again, thank you all, the She Codes team, for this opportunity. Happy coding, everyone!

This workshop was an amazing experience! I enjoyed each challenge and the final project was such an enjoyable activity. I am proud of myself for having gone from someone who doesn't really know that much about computers, to someone who is way more comfortable on them now 😎 I would recommend this course to many of my friends, and am already trying to convince my mom to do it haha 🤩

I had a lot of fun during the Responsive course and I'm extremely proud of my project.
The Responsive Add-On course made for another great project to highlight on my portfolio. I'm getting more and more comfortable with ensuring my apps/sites are not only aesthetically pleasing but user friendly across a variety of devices & platforms.
I really enjoyed learning about coding and the creative process behind website designs. The videos were perfectly bite-sized, and the homework helped solidify concepts.

This course was a great introduction to coding. The workshops were broken down into small sections that helped progress learning just a little bit further each time. The tasks were the perfect balance between achievable and challenging.
I enjoyed the class, overall. It wasn't difficult to keep up with thanks to Matt's great teaching style. Everything was explained very well. I love the Slack feature and how quickly the SheCodes team replies to questions. I wish I got a certification after the course though. I thought it was a certification at the end, but I think it's a certificate of completion. Either way, a lot of great info that opened the door for me to possibly take the tech route. Thank you!
SheCode's project was a transformative experience. From learning HTML and CSS to building my first web page, the hands-on approach and supportive community made it both educational and enjoyable. I'm inspired and excited to continue my coding journey with SheCode. Grateful for the opportunity!

Great workshop; I really appreciated how Matt broke down all the concepts into more digestible "bits". I also liked the structure of the challenges and the way he provided several alternatives for various desired design "outcomes". I could definitely see myself adopting his disciplined and logical workflow as a work best-practice in the future. Another challenging and exciting course from SheCodes! lt's definitely worth taking, as it covers a vital topic - making your website responsive. SheCodes is an amazing place to start learning code. It is immersive, whilst Matt explains in detail how each piece of code interacts with each other and how it affects the end project. The tidbit sectioning in each week's work makes it easy to follow and allows you to set your own pace.
I had such a wonderful time learning to code and advancing in my knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I have definitely discovered a new passion in coding. SheCodes Plus was challenging and pretty complexed. Specially cause I needed to manage my time between my 40-hour week job, my personal chores and my free time (and some vacations). The good thing is that some weeks were easier to follow and to learn than others. But I enjoyed every step of the way and I felt the absolute support from the SheCodes team. Every time I felt stuck and asked for help, SheCodes team was there to explain me what I was not understanding. I feel very proud of myself and even though I'm not sure yet if I see myself doing this professionally, I'm very much motivated to continue learning and navigating into the possibilities that SheCodes is helping me creating for myself.

This course feels quite advanced compared with the basic course but I'm glad that I could finish this course!
It was very cool! I had some troubles several times with my code, but it was an incredibly interesting challenge to solve them on my own. Thank you for this experience, now I have my own really working project in my portfolio! Can't wait for the next course and learning React!
If you want to learn I highly recommend SheCodes workshops. They really know how to teach , you will learn a lot. I'm sure others would love it too. I asked my questions on slack and they responsed to me and other students with care and kindness . Even though it took me twice of the time to proceed my second workshop I could say I've learnt every lesson and it was very useful to me. So don't worry and don't feel anxious if you think other's progress are faster and you might be slower because it's okay.
It was very exciting time, sometimes challanging, but with a help of wonderful SheCodes team and Athena I finally create my first App. If you want to try yourself in coding, this is exactly right place!
SheCodes is the best starting poing for anyone with a raging interest in coding. This is your best bet. I love how it accomodates everyone from those who are unskilled, the working individuals , and so on. I highly recommend it. The support, and feedback made it all easy.

I really enjoyed the coding.
The majority of the weeks covered new content, tools, and methods that were vital to coding not just an online portfolio but coding websites in general that look good and are responsive across different platforms. The later weeks become a little repetitive since I began working on my final project since the first week, but I understand others may have a different approach.
I have learnt how to design the face of a website and how to make it interactive to the user. This is a wonderful and quick course to learn the important fundamentals!

After many workshops and add-ons I finished with SheCodes, this project gave me, except of its challenging part, lot of fun, joy and fulfillment. To add to my initial introductory course with SheCodes, I decided to take on an additional week through the SheCodes Basics Add-on course and loved every minute! It was definitely well worth the extra week and allowed me to expand my knowledge of additional features and capabilities of HTML,CSS and Javascript. Matt and the SheCodes team have done such a great job of structuring classes. I look forward to using my new knowledge to find ways of creating helpful tools for the future!

I really enjoyed working on this workshop it allowed me to apply my previous knowledge of HTML and CSS without the need of too many bootstrap shortcuts.

This was a great introduction to coding. I loved how everything was explained so clearly. It was great to go back and fix the challenges after submitting to understand how you could make the code better.
I'm very happy to be doing Shecodes Plus, it's a real challenge, we need to study a lot, but it's very rewarding when we finish each step, we realize that with focus, good teachers, family support and God we can do anything.

Since I left my job, I was looking to change my career path. After a lot of research, I found out SheCodes. SheCodes is amazing, there’s so much to learn from it. I thought that it would be way more difficult, but realised that everyone can do it. It’s not that hard. I highly recommend.
My name is Mahya, and I come from an MBA background. I have completed the foundation program, and it was really flexible for me as a busy woman! Matt is a wonderful teacher, and the program is well designed. After watching short videos, there are challenges that helped me to learn better. I always wanted to learn to code, but thought it would be too complex and time-consuming. But this program changed my perception about coding. Completing this SheCodes program has been an absolute game-changer for me. I never thought coding could be so easy and enjoyable! I have always been afraid to start coding because it seemed so hard, but now I wish I had started sooner!
