I was able to work at my own pace and learn a lot. I appreciate that everything was broken down piece by piece so I could better understand how everything works as a whole.
I had a lot of fun learning the basics with Matt, the classes were easy to follow and gave space for your own creativity. I'm surprised at how quickly I picked up the basics and I can't wait to learn more!
At the end of this workshop, I managed to build my personal website and hosted it. This is a big milestone for me. SheCodes is fantastic! .I learned so much and feel much more confident in my abilities now. Matt was engaging and made the material easy to understand. This course made me improve in coding. Before learning about SheCodes, I could never imagine that one day I would be able to code, but now, thanks to SheCodes, I have coded and designed my own weather app. Everything was great and I am very thankful to SheCodes for making coding understandable for me.
As an absolute beginner who a has huge appetite for a career in tech but doesn't have an idea how or where to start from, I stumbled on SheCodes foundation on google through my search for a perfect place where I could satisfy my appetite at my own pace. With just three weeks of learning, I could develop a basic landing and interactive page using html, CSS and JavaScript. The workshops are simplified, practical and very easy to grasp even without any background in IT. I have already recommended it to my friends who have interest in tech careers.
Before SheCodes, I've tried other free code camps/coding websites but was always left frustrated as I couldn't understand what I was learning or what I was doing. However, the step-by-step (very hand-holding) approach by Matt and his team has restored my confidence and helped me successfully build a webpage. My advice for new beginners who are eager to create: follow the instructions before getting carried away and wanting to build your own hobby project. Trust me. This will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Throughout the program, I learned numerous programming languages, such as HTML,CSS and JavaScript.This languages enabled me to understand the fundamental of cording and develop a solid foundation for more advance concept. One of the most important lesson I gained from this program was problem solving.

As a beginner, I was initially apprehensive, but the well-structured lessons made learning coding easier. The challenges were real, but so was the sense of accomplishment with each milestone I achieved.
It has been 3 weeks of Shecodes learning. The three weeks at SheCodes have been delightful and exceptionally educative. Matt is an excellent teacher, and I love how the classes are structured. After finishing Shecode Basic, I feel fulfilled and look forward to completing the program.

The workshop was very detailed and informative, it expanded and solidified my understanding of the JavaScript language would highly recommend.
React was very challenging and I hoped to practice a little bit more before jumping into a huge project. But the dictionary project was very interesting really nice to built.

before joining SheCodes I had no idea what coding was. I saw an advert in Facebook and as usual I thought it was a hoax, but I enrolled anyway just curious as to what coding is. The first lesson I was skeptical as I didn't understand the concept right away but through patience and perseverance, I finally grasped the basics of coding. finding SheCodes gave me hope that my unemployment status will soon come to an end, thanks to the wonderful team at Shecodes.
