A thoroughly good workshop!
It only took 3 weeks to make me fall in love with coding again.
I am so grateful for this opportunity to be on the SheCodes foundation. Honestly, I feel so blessed to have Matt on my side every step of the way. He has made it easier for me to understand coding and find it simpler to learn. I do recommend this workshop to every woman who is interested to pursue a career in tech.
I completely enjoyed my responsive workshop, I especially liked seeing my project respond to different screen resolution and feeling like I now understand a lot more how websites and apps can work seamlessly on different devices. I've learned so much and all this knowledge has increased my passion for coding and desire to become a front-end developer. A big thank you to Matt (our instructor) and the SheCodes team.
I completed the basic workshop and it was incredible experience! Matt Delac taught in a way that was easy to understand, He and SheCodes team are knowledgeable and engaging. The project and challenges was really fun and I gained a lot of experience. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to expand their skills and knowledge.

SheCodes has two important features that helps learners a lot: First feature is its well designed learning path that consists of many small challenges. These small challenges guide yo step by step to code an app. And the second feature is its kind and supporting team that help learners fix their problems in learning path. I think the second one is the main advantages of SheCodes. Maybe there are many resources for self-learn but not all of them has such companions along the way of learning. I spoke about SheCodes with many friends during the months I was using it to learn how to code. If you decide to learn coding with it, I wish you the best of learning experience in SheCodes.
The knowledge we get from SheCodes in a short space of time makes one feel as a developer 😄. I am grateful for this course and knowledge been Given herein. Thank you, Matt and the Team, for the opportunity given as women to gain a skill in Tech.

This course has been a fantastic introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I've enjoyed every minute. Sessions are delivered in well explained segments with small recap tasks to really help consolidate the teaching, the challenges are well explained and build upon the skills learnt, and the concepts are taught and demonstrated through engaging examples. There's also a really lovely community of other students eager to help each other out, which has been super useful for learning how to troubleshoot and problem solve. I'm so grateful to the SheCodes team - thank you!
This workshops are doing wonders honestly. With the little knowledge that I had gained in this workshop I was able to use the knowledge when competing in a hackathon that required us to use APIs and we were very lucky enough to win second place so thank you dearly SheCodes.

This one was so much fun, I feel like I was breezing past it! It was really interesting learning how to use APIs. Also, I'm glad I know how to use GitHub properly now haha. As always, Matt did a wonderful job teaching. I can't wait to move on to the next workshop!

Definitely a more advanced lesson in JavaScript and lengthier than the Basics workshop, but so rewarding to complete your very own customized weather app! The Slack Team was a huge help whenever I got stuck on something. I keep making little mistakes but am confident that the more time I can devote to practicing/coding the easier I’ll spot these errors myself and the better it will all sink in. On to the next course! :)

It was fun and rewarding to build the app from scratch by learning all the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, JS, and API.
In this workshop, I became more familiar with Javascript, React, API calls, CSS styling and more. I learned the importance of folder structure and how to deploy a React application to Netlify. I am confidence my experience gained here will help me in my future projects!
A great coding class! would highly recommend it as it's very hands-on with challenges for each lesson so you get to practice practice practice until perfect!
The course was very informative and really helped break down everything. My only dislike is there is a time frame to complete each section. I would like to be able to learn on my own time, at my own pace but other than that It was very informative and easy to follow :)
This is a great little workshop that builds on your knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS properties. I especially loved the edition of adding a dark mode to the project!
I had been interested in coding for a long time but I didn't think I could do it and didn't know where I could fit it in with my healthcare career. After signing up for the free class, it sealed my fate. I immediately joined the Basics workshop and it is one of the best decisions I have ever done. This has shown me so many opportunities. This workshop was so easy and very understandable. I cannot wait to start the other workshops!
The workshop helped me to understand the basics of coding easily. Although it was at times challenging it was also fun!

Completing the SheCodes basic course in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript was a game-changer. In just a short time, I gained practical coding skills. SheCodes' approachable learning platform and supportive community made the journey enjoyable.
This is an excellent class for an HTML, CSS and JS with simple explanation but, a lot of things to learn from it. I finished each lesson with passion.Now I feel fully confident in my ability to continue my HTML, CSS, and JS learning independently.

What a way to start my coding journey! I have thoroughly enjoyed every step of this SheCodes workshop 🙌 It is only the beginning, but I started this journey not knowing anything about coding, to actually putting a web page together from scratch - which is incredible in just 3 weeks. All of the lessons, tasks, and homework each week were very useful, not only do they help you gain a bunch of coding skills, they're actually tricky and challenge you! It's also really fun and has only made me excited to continue on this journey. 😊

I really enjoyed the She Codes basic programme. It was a great introduction to coding, and the lessons where enjoyable. I loved having little projects throughout the workshop and enjoyed working on the final project at the end, which tied everything you learn in the programme together!
the learning experience was a smooth ride, the videos made it much easier to learn. And its safe to say the basics workshop will not be my last. I am looking forward to learning more and upgrading my coding skills.

I enjoyed the challenge of creating my own weather app. The project the engaging and set up in a way where I did not think, "This is impossible". I felt very accomplished after completing this project.
I went from being a girl who dreamt of and aspired to write any sort of code at all, to finally being actually understanding the real essentials of coding, and then writing simple code that actually runs. I am in the very begining stages o f my coding journey but this workshop has made me feel so empowered and confident that i can achieve even more in this field. The team is very responsive and supportive. I look forward to making them and myself proud.
I'm loving the SheCodes workshops! Matt's explanations are super clear, his tips always useful and the final projects unique and so fun to code! I would definitely recommend these workshops to all the ladies who are passionate about technology&computer science, and want to dive into coding! 💗🌸💻
I really enjoyed learning how to use React. There is still some much I would like to explore and I am looking forward to continuing to develop as a front-end developer.

I appreciate how this workshop has introduced me to the creative applications of coding as someone with a creative background! SheCodes provides very detailed explanations in their lessons and a great realm of resources provided to make the most out of the three weeks.
What a rollercoaster! Challenging (and frustrating from time to time) 8 weeks, but it was such a boost of confidence to learn & build my own weather app. Finally I feel how wrong was someone who told me that programming is only for boys years ago. Thank you SheCodes Team for all your support and fast replies to my questions in Slack. The final outcome wouldn't happen without you.

Very informative, didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed.
It was a very fun project to do, completing each page with the information and giving it shape with CSS and HTML. using all the tools so far to make it responsive.
This was an awesome addition to the Weather App that we had to produce.. I was left wondering about time zones and displaying the date and time of other cities around the world, and the add-on course answered it! Really enjoyed learning an extra new skill.
The workshop was information, interactive and easy to understand.

An action packed course, filled to the brim with useful tips and tricks and an amazing chance to put them to use with the homework and assignments! So glad I got this opportunity!
Besides that knowledge that I had before, this course teached me a lot of proffesional stuff that makes your website responsible and accessible to any device users. Of course you need to practise a lot to be more confident in using these techniques, but I'm sure that it will be very interesting experience

SheCodes has changed my life. The workshops helped me think outside of the box in ways I never knew I was capable of. Coding began as a skill I wanted to obtain so that I can one day make my own website but with SheCodes, I can see myself securing a career in web development and being happy at it because at 22 years old, I aspire to live a life that is comfortable and centered around happiness and SheCodes is my stepping stone to greatness, and that could work out for you too.
SheCodes Plus was incredible! I was constantly hungry for more knowledge after each lesson. The structured curriculum, which progressively advanced in complexity, kept me engaged and motivated throughout the program. Building my first fully functional project was a truly fulfilling milestone, and it has left me eager to expand my knowledge in the web development realm. Big thanks to the SheCodes team and Matt for their hard work, which made this learning journey so much fun ✨

I actually took Introduction to HTML with a few other backend languages in college, so this course was a refresher for me. I will say, I'm glad I joined SheCodes!! I'm having fun learning new skills and utilizing them in the assignments everyday! The short lectures, the resources, and my even my girl Athena! has been very useful. I'm ready to dive deeper now 😈😈!! This is only the beginning!
