In just a couple of weeks, I was able to code something that looked professional! The bite-size way in which content is delivered makes it super accessible, and the challenges are very effective at getting you to learn by doing.
The course is a great way to gain insight into how front-end development works. It gives you an understanding of a whole system and enables you to understand the structure of the language.
Wow! I can't believe how much I've learned in such a short amount to time! I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone who is interested in learning for the first time. This workshop was the deal for me. I am working a full-time job and for quite some time now I wanted to see if coding was for me. I took the Basic course not knowing what to expect and in 2 weeks' time decided that web development was what I wanted to do. I applied for the SheCodes Max while still taking the basic course. I can't recommend it enough, it is a perfect method for learning (lesson + homework + solution) and it keeps you accountable to show up every day, even for a bit, but it makes a difference. Plus the community is amazing! Both tutors and other students are really friendly and help you out with technical questions and more. Would suggest it 100%

Really enjoyed the basics course! So much information packed into such a short amount of time. The format of the course was great for my learning style. Having each week broken down into several lessons made it less overwhelming, easier to focus on one topic while gradually building on and introducing new concepts.

In the last few months, I got familiar with HTML, CSS and JS. SheCodes Plus is a good upgrade to the Basic program, which helps me understand some principles of coding when hiring developers. The program does not take too much time and you can adapt it to your own rhythm.
Great coding concept! Informative videos and great exercises. Unfortunately the "live captions" is not in sync with voiceover/videos so would not recommend for hard of hearing/deaf people like myself
Learning the fundamentals of SheCodes has been a fascinating experience for me. As an informations designer I've always wondered how my designs come to life when developers take what I've prepared on figma or other prototyping software and translate it into a working program or interactive medium. When I started the SheCodes journey I did not know what to expect but now that I have come this far, I can definitely say it has been nothing but a great experience with so much practicality to actually understand and put into practice all that you have learnt. I have been raving about this program to anyone that is interested in coding whether it's do learn a new language or brush up on some skills. The whole reason for me taking these workshops is because I'm going to ultimately change my career over to becoming a front end web developer from being a professional makeup artist and beauty educator for 10+ years. I really loved this add on workshop it really is very exciting and interesting to me. I have adhd and for me if I'm really interested in something I will hyperfocus on it until the end of time. The program is really easy to understand and so much fun.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of learning new skills and seeing the progress that I have made in such a short space of time. I plan to continue my coding journey even if it is only for my own personal use. Coding is something that I never thought I would be able to do but I have absolutely loved it.

Learning to build in React came with a steep learning curve, but I overcame once I got out of my own way and tried a different approach. One thing that I can always appreciate about the way Matt and the team at SheCodes teaches coding it that there is always multiple solutions to the same problem. It helps with learning to problem solve without getting frustrated.
It's amazing to have this new knowledge. However I felt that this module is too compressed: too much information in little time. Comparing to other modules I'm not feeling that confidente about working in React by muself, but I'll continue my efforts.
I'm very happy to have finally created a working program. Learning about APIs excites me a lot as well. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team.
