I really enjoyed this workshop. As I keep going, it just cements in me that I can do hard things. Matt is a really great instructor. And I enjoy the fact that he does not edit out his mistakes or comes off as if he knows everything there is. I like that he Googles when he's stuck and acknowledges when he makes mistakes and assures you not to panic if it happens to you. It helps to know that its okay to make mistakes and that there is always a way to fix them.

I have no prior knowledge about coding until I came across SheCodes on one of the groups I belong to on Facebook. I put in my application and that's one of the best decisions I've made so far. The Basics Add On course was a great way to expand on the skills from the Introduction. It was so easy to follow and made me excited to learn a lot more. SheCodes does a brilliant job of giving you time to work through each lesson at your own pace. The best part of the entire experience is the challenge after each lesson to give you practice. The responsive workshop was great fun. It's great to know how to use grids, css filters and tables. What's great about SheCodes is that you have fun learning thanks to the diversity of the projects.
I wanted to learn to code since I want little, and I always found so much about it and computer science as a whole very overwhelming and stressful (and that's coming from a medic!). It made it so simple to understand the concepts and to learn, apply and practice it in a real world setting.
