I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop! The lessons were easy to follow, the challenges help reinforce everything we learned, and being able to follow along with Matt during our project was a HUGE help. The support on slack is also amazing! Any time I was stuck or unsure of how to fix my code, the tech admins and others really did a great job at giving great advice and instruction to help fix coding issues. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone wanting to learn the basics of code, it's so worth it!

The use of components and hooks are definitely a significant use for utilizing React. I hope to review once again in other practices and projects to pursue my coding endeavors. It helps a great deal when managing a lot of functions.

Great little workshop to get more familiar with time and date inputs. I was very happy to see that there are fairly easier ways of displaying local time as well as fetching data for other time zones. Even though it felt pretty quick to get through, I feel like I gained a lot from it.

I was very happy to see that this AI workshop was added as an add-on. Working and coding with AI is something that I didn't plan on diving into until later down the road but this was a very easy and concise introduction to using AI in your code. Really enjoyed this add-on and learned some new tricks. Highly recommend!
The plus class was really challenging But I was able to learn alot of things. Coding is indeed fun when you put your mind to it.
I am so grateful that SheCodes provides this section. It was stressful to think about how I would approach finding a job, building a portfolio, etc., but the guidance provided in this section helped immensely!

This course was really interesting and frustrating at times. I learnt so much, coming from a more creative background, I really had to push myself to find solutions and retain the information but I wouldn't change that for anything, I found myself wanting to work on the modules and expand on my knowledge. Learning React can be challenging, sometimes even frustrationg, especially for beginners but the course offered a solid exploration of React concepts, and the hands-on projects were instrumental in reinforcing my understanding.

Using advanced HTML and CSS in my artists project was a really fun experience as I have used one of my inspirational idols for this project. Overall, even though there were some challenges, I was able to overcome them with the support given to me.
I've learnt so much in this course and am very impressed with the amount of detail Matt goes in to. Very excited to continue my coding journey!
This has been amazing! What i've been able to do, how clean my code code has become. My thinking is more analytical and i have become able to see problems and solvable and not blocks, obstructions and frustration. I'm so grateful for this opportunity :)

I liked the workshop
I really enjoyed the basics add-on course! It was really fun to build my project alongside my classes this time, as it broke down a large undertaking into smaller, manageable sections. Not only did I get to practice and use what I'd learned previously in the basics course, I got to build upon them and further develop my skills which I got to showcase in my project. It was great for building confidence and fun to build a more sophisticated landing page, it was visual evidence of my skills developing and I loved it.
I was able to learn a lot in a short period, I am glad that after hearing about you on Tik Tok I immediately applied, this far with this amazing team it was worth it no time was wasted but skills added, I personally with all that I have learned so far ready for the tech world as it has been a dream to become a software developer, Thank you very much for closing this gap

SheCodes responsive was fun and informative. I really enjoyed having to create my own personal portfolio and design it the way I want. What makes it even more greater is the fact that I can change and maintain my portfolio at any given point without it being a hassle because everything was just made easy and fun to learn.

A fantastic course for beginners! I remembered bits of coding from my earlier years which helped with the challenges. But I really loved learning the CSS and Javascript within the basics course. Matt explained everything thoroughly and he encourages learners to go out and look for coding by checking the source codes on various websites to get answers, ideas and inspiration. I have a full time job as a project analyst and a child to look after and I found 1 week was ample time to complete the lessons and challenges! SheCodes Plus course, here I come!

It's been a fun, challenging and humbling experience learning the basics of coding. I thoroughly enjoyed every step of the weekly challenges. Matt has been a phenomenal teacher by breaking down concepts to easily understand. I love how the program gives one a little independency and allows you to do some research on your own in some challenges. I can't wait to go on into the next course.

I began SheCodes without knowing anything about coding. Now I'm able to understand 3 coding languages. I'm happy to keep learning about coding in the future.
Prior to this workshop, I had no experience working with AI APIs or writing AI prompts. Instructor Matt did an excellent job of breaking down the concepts in order to make them easily understandable. The final project was a lot of fun and tied everything together nicely.
Learning these extra tools for Js, css and html was quite fun. It allows you to bring out more of your creative side.
I've tried coding several times but never really went beyond HTML and CSS. But with the helpful tutorials, I finally feel like I could start making something!!
React is one of the most interesting language for building dynamic web applications, encountered challenges which helped to deepen my understanding of the language capabilities.

I can't believe I now understand some technical coding terms, and can even code a basic web page - whoa 🤯 I used to dread the word "coding", thought it was meant for geniuses only - I guess I'm a genius then. I really loved this workshop. It's something i was waiting since i started my SheCodes journey. I simply love creating webpages and giving them my personal design style. This workshop was all i was hoping for: i've learned how to prorpely code a responsive website, transforming designs into code and much more. I loved it so much and i most importantly i enjoyed the portofolio project more than anything. It gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation to focus transforming more existing designs into code.
