This Python course was very comprehensive and the structure of the lessons made them very easy to follow.
Before joining SheCodes, I was a complete beginner in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no prior experience in that area. I was anxious that I would not be able to understand or complete the course. Throughout the program, I was introduced to HTML, CSS, JavaScript and VCode. What I appreciated most about SheCodes Basics was Slack and Athena. One of the biggest challenges I faced was time management from my end due to my busy schedule. However, with the time extension that was provided, I was able to overcome this hurdle and submit most of my assignments . Now, after completing SheCodes Basics, I feel like I have fair knowledge on how to conduct and create more content within the tech space. This program has opened my eyes to the exciting world of web development. I would highly recommend SheCode Basics Program to anyone looking to start their journey in coding and technology. I had done the basic workshop a little while ago, so was a bit nervous about coming back after some time. I can safely stay, 'wow' SheCodes continues to be an amazing experience. You can go back to old lessons to brush up on your skills and refresh your memory making the workshops easier and enjoyable.

SheCodes plus took me a lot longer to finish but I'm happy with everything I've learnt. I was proud every time I got a new javascript function to work. I had to pause and ask myself, girl your hands really did that? lol I had so much fun. I'm looking forward to doing more courses.

Before starting the workshop I had no prior introduction to coding and it felt daunting but after the free webinar, it was interesting and I took it head on. It has been challenging but I do know that practice makes perfect so I am looking forward to coming back again after 2 months to practicing until I get everything right. The workshop has however, helped me understand how things work on websites and I can look at sources and follow the trail. Coding is not easy but it is fun when you get the hang of it. I'm looking forward to more of these and hopefully upgrade my lessons. I'd 10/10 recommend this to friends and I hope my sister will apply to study.

I'm in love with the SheCodes bootcamp program so far. I get so excited every time I got up from the bed to immediately crack the code challenge that Matt has given. It's all I can think of these days. The basic program IS really fun. I must admit sometimes I struggled some challenges, but thank god there's SheCodes Slack community. I really enjoyed this workshop and it was very useful to learn how to build a responsive website using pure HTML and CSS without utilizing Bootstrap. I learned a lot and it was fun building the website using grids, cards and embeds!

Creating a world clock was a fun and rewarding project. I enjoyed the challenge of working with different time zones and figuring out how to display the correct time for cities around the world. Participating in SheCodes Responsive Workshop was an incredible experience. While I gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, the journey was not without its challenges. There were times when I spent hours troubleshooting code bugs and figuring out why something wasn't working as expected. Each difficulty, however, became a valuable lesson, teaching me perseverance and deepening my understanding of responsive design. Learning about SEO and hosting was a game-changer, helping me build professional, user-friendly websites. Thanks to SheCodes, I now feel confident in my ability to create fully responsive web applications from scratch, knowing that I can tackle any coding challenge that comes my way.

I can't believe how much you get to learn in the Basic course! I had a basic CSS understanding for the little bits I needed to do for work, but as I'm learning web design I wanted to be able to customise if needed, but it felt very scary. Having the course broken down into separate languages/formats each week allowed you to get the understanding for how each bit worked independently and how they work together for you to build functioning code and web pages! It didn't feel overwhelming, though a few bits took a bit of getting the hang of (kept putting my brackets in the wrong place!), but you feel proud and accomplished when it works. Feel that I might want to look at the other courses to see how I could advance and what else you can learn.
I am really enjoying the flow of this course: tutorials, challenges and projects make it a great way to learn and apply the learning.
