The World Clock app is an interesting and fun add-on project to code. I especially love learning about Moment.js (what a lifesaver it is!) and incorporating new functionalities outside the project criteria to challenge myself. I was able to apply what I've learned from past workshops to code another awesome app!

It is very motivational to keep building your own projects and doing hands on coding along the way. During Responsive Web Development course I was impressed by interesting developing world. Learning about responsive design and implementing it in my final project was new experience for me, but so interesting. I explored new skills and technologies and provided it in my project.
I had always wanted to learn coding, but I was intimidated by the complexity and the time commitment. That’s why I applied for this workshop, and I’m so glad I did. It was such a great, easy, and fun way to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other great stuff like hosting and responsiveness. The instructor was very kind and helpful, and the exercises were challenging but rewarding. I learned a lot of stuff in a very short time, and I was able to create my own web page by the end of the workshop. I've known and been using Chatgpt for a while, however this module helped me understand it more. I am increasingly getting more knowledge about how powerful APIs are and can't wait to create my projects and implement them there.
Having never done coding in my life, I felt a little intimidated at first. But Matt's style of teaching and being able to go at your own pace, meant I could learn with pleasure. Cannot wait for more workshops in the future. I thoroughly recommend this course if you always wanted to try out coding!

Great workshop! It was nice to be able to create a new app within 2 weeks, and reinforce the learning of Javascript from the previous SheCodes Plus lessons.
Using the skills taught by Matt, I'm able to create a full portfolio page on my own. It definitely needed more refining, but hopefully I can do it when I've learnt React!

I loved learning everything I did in this course. There were many challenges and definitely some frustrating moments. Having challenges teaches you to be a better developer and is such a blessing! Great start to learning React - cohesive intro to the key concepts and translating previous projects into React.

Exploring the coding world within this course has been quite an exciting adventure! This workshop proved to be both enjoyable and enlightening, filling in the gaps for certain concepts about software functionality that had previously eluded me.
Another React workshop came to it's end but this time diving deeper into React, and I've got to say, it was another fantastic experience! Just like the forecast project we did earlier, this workshop was a blast. One of the things I really appreciated about this workshop was how it helped me understand more about loops and working with double APIs. React can be a bit tricky to wrap your head around sometimes, but Matt really knows how to break it down into manageable chunks. Overall, I learned a ton and had a great time doing it. Can't wait to see what i will be learning and coding next! 🤍
I signed up for SheCodes because I needed a new career path after being a stay at home parent for the last 11 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from about 14 years ago and things were so different back then!
