I completely had no idea where to start on coding ,luckily i have found SheCodes which guided me on this beautiful journey of coding step by step,and i have built my own landing page in 3 weeks only!.I am eagerly waiting to finish the rest of the journey and have the skills of coding i always inspired to have.

This has been a very interesting workshop.
I have always wanted to learn how to code, but I had no idea where to start. Fortunately, my friend recommended She codes. I have enjoyed every task over the past three weeks, and the tasks get more exciting each week. Since the majority of the solutions in the modern world involve AI, technology, and coding, this program will be extremely beneficial to me as a continuous improvement engineer. SheCodes allowed me to learn something my younger self thought was impossible. As a result, I've gained much more confidence within myself. I was able to go at a steady pace, if I was tired i was able to give myself space and when I needed to get things done, I felt motivated, not stressed. Going through the course at my own pace is what allowed me to truly understand each step and understand what is being done. With time and help from the slack team I was able to code my own weather app and make it exactly how I envisioned it to look.

In high school 30 years ago, I dipped my toes into Data Processing and quickly decided it wasn't my cup of tea—it was just too dull for my taste. Fast forward through a couple of degrees in HR and TESOL, and here I am, back at square one but with a different vibe. This 3-week coding course I just wrapped up? Absolutely game-changing. It's been a blast and has flipped the script on how I see coding. Not only has it sparked some exciting goals for my future, but it's also reshaping my mindset about the whole coding gig. It feels like coming home but with a new perspective and many new doors swinging open.
I loved SheCodes Basics. The short learning videos are almost always accompanied by a practical exercise so it makes it really hands on. I liked that the videos are to-the-point, concise and don't go in too much details. It's not a 3-hour long lecture : after 15min, you're actually getting your hands dirty and learning actionable stuff! For me, it was the reassuring phrases from Matt like "don't worry, nothing's going to explode, it's just not good practice to do it like this" or "this might be confusing but do it like this for now and it'll all come together in the next video" or "ok, this is a hard exercise but you can do it and don't forget the community and tools that can help you" and of course : "Happy coding!".

This is the second course I have taken with SheCodes. It's all new for me, it's a great challenge that is often frustrating, but on the other hand, it is very motivating when you see what you have created. Studying coding is like learning a new language, and I will continue studying until I can speak it better every time. The SheCodes support team is fundamental!

Wonderful course that allows you to study when and where suits you best. The content is given in easily digestible lessons and gently challenges you to help bridge the gap between watching and understanding. The support via Slack is fast and reliable so you're never waiting for assistance.
This is my second time taking the course as I leveled up to complete the full stack. I appreciate how flexible the course cadence is as a mom of two. I can fit it in when I have time and ask for an extension if absolutely necessary. There is TONS of support online, with SheCodes Athena and the Slack channel. I can't believe how much I've actually learned since the first time around.
Attending the SheCodes workshop was an enlightening experience. In just a short span of time, I gained invaluable knowledge and practical skills that empowered me to create stunning websites from scratch. SheCodes does a really good job. I'm glad I decided to continue onto this Add-On project. It's great how manageable the classes are to complete. I never have any problem at all, and when I do, the Slack app is of great help.
Taking this course has helped me improve my understanding and knowledge of coding.
I am starting off with absolutely no knowledge of coding whatsoever, coming into this I did a TON of research on courses, what's best to take, and why it's better than the others when I fell upon She Codes. The first thing that stood out to me was the free introduction video, I like to know what I am getting into and how the course will benefit me and I have to say the video truly gave me a lot of insight and was what convinced me to finally go for my dream and take that step. It took me over 2 years to begin, and here I am graduating from SheCodes Basic, and I feel like all that research and work is paying off. I learned basic skills in HTML, CSS and Javascript and I feel that I am ready to move onto the next phase in order to work towards my goal of working as a full stack developer.
This workshop was excellent, with new challenges but maintaining the easy to follow lessons.
It has only been three weeks of fun and I can't wait to learn more.

It took me longer than expected. Unfortunately, with the death of a family member I was allowed to ask for "extension" a couple of times. I had to go through each lesson about 3 times but eventually I finished and I'm so proud of myself to see it through and not give up in hard times.
I have learned a lot at this workshop. It's challenged but it's very a useful skill.

Participating in the SheCodes Responsive Add-on was a transformative experience where I mastered Pure CSS Grids, Responsive CSS Grids, HTML Tables, CSS Filters, HTML Embeds, and CSS Hero. This comprehensive skill set enabled me to create a website dedicated to my love for books. It wasn't just about learning to code; it was about blending my passion for literature with new technical abilities, showcasing how technology can amplify our interests and stories in the most beautiful ways.
From just the Basics, I have learned ALOT, as a complete beginner. It can be frustrating just missing one : or ; or ", but it definitely does take practice. I have a new respect for website design and the user experience.

A great start in web development, you learn all the basic information you need to build your project. I found it great how it helps you visualize what the development process is like, as well as what to expect while learning. All errors faced in development were also handled and were not cut from the video, which helped me know how to handle issues that are inevitable while coding.
