Another workshop that taught me to much. I appreciate the flexibility to choose my own topic. I choose to create a website dedicated to pet rescue. Many of my family and friends are involved in or adopted from rescue groups. I wanted to showcase them so all the animals in the pictures were adopted/rescued/fostered by my friends and family. I learned how to embed social media into landing page which will hopefully increase the visibility of the animal rescue groups. I also learned about adding filters directly from the css which made modifying the images a bit easier to fit with the color scheme of the site. As always, the instruction was so well done, teaching not only the information but the process of coding. Thank you Matt and SheCodes. Another well designed workshop.
This was very fun for me. I have previously tried a little bit of coding, but nothing like this. And this workshop made me more interested in starting a career whithin coding and programming. There is a lot of work behind making a simple page and seeing how you can twist and change a page is very exciting. I would recommend this to every woman out there.

Definitely a very challenging course but I think learning React is a valuable skill and knowledge to have and makes it all worth it. It'll get easier with time and practice but I enjoy how easy it is to follow along and that you're able to do it at your own pace.
I'm glad I signed up for the SheCodes Basics workshop. My knowledge of HTML has expanded tenfold, and I now have CSS and Javascript under my belt. I'm thrilled by what I've accomplished in such a short amount of time and can't wait to start SheCodes Plus.

I've been trying to learn HTML and CSS on and off for a few years. Every time I would dive into it, I would not finish because I found it to be too confusing. This course is laid out in a way where you learn very easily. You're learning concepts and how they work instead of memorizing functions. I really loved it and found it easy to learn HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I'm very excited to continue on and keep learning in the next courses. The basic course alone is well worth the money. If you're thinking about doing it, you should.

Coding concepts were easily explained, and the challenges allowed you to test your knowledge and gain a better understanding. I'll definitely continue my coding journey with SheCodes.

SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge because of the amount of new knowledge and techniques that needed to be applied to the final project. There is definitely a lot going on during those 8 weeks of workshop. So it is always good to take the time to go over the videos and challenges several times to make sure it is all clear. But it was great fun building the weather app and playing with API integrations.
It`s was not easy for me, but very very interesting and useful. Thanks for incredible opportunity to study new job.

I started learning coding with shecodes 3 weeks back. This was my first time I have never done coding before . Honestly I enjoyed every exercise given to me though they could be very frastrating. Matt's teaching style is awusome,I loved the group or channel that i could join to ask for help.Those channels were very helpful,they made the begining of my coding jounery very easy. It was a great learning experience. The concepts were explained to me well, in short lessons, which made it easy for me to understand. The tasks/challenges helped me apply the knowledge I gained from the video, which also helped me retain what I learnt from each lesson.

I love this project-based learning approach. You can see the real-life application of what you are building, which makes it more fun to learn more about other features that you add to make it better. Google anything you don't know or remember 😆. Creating this App with friends in mind made it even more fun to learn.

An ex airline staff, a mother of 3 with a long career gap wanted to pursue my career by doing a transition to IT.
