It has taken me some time to commit to SheCodes since my initial start back in October 2023 however, it has been very easy to get back into the swing of things. I am thoroughly enjoying coding again and cannot wait to complete all the other Courses.

SheCodes has been an incredible journey for me as an IT student aiming to transition into a full-stack developer. With this workshop, I learned a lot about responsive design, but I was also able to improve my previous knowledge from other SheCodes workshops. It was very interesting getting to know the building process of a webpage. Since the design and how we, as developers, will "translate" that design into code. I highly recommend it because I like the way Matt explains everything, I like the pace of the course, and also the real life examples given during the classes.
SheCodes React Workshop is a great way of learning a lot of react basics. Thanks to the many small challenges after each unit, you can apply what you have learned very quickly and later integrate it very well into the final project which is a lot of fun.
I'm glad to have had another chance to practice making a website responsive! As always, I learned a lot and look forward to doing another add-on.

Completing SheCodes Plus was a transformative journey for me. In this course I have learned important fundamentals of React.js, such as UseState, UseEffekt, properties, conditional rendering, Api integration and so on. My learning journey was exciting but at some points challenging. Loved the structure and flexibility of the course.

I am grateful for all the lessons that Shecodes has helped in teaching. The lessons are straightforward and have helped me successfully tackle the challenges, homework, and projects.
It required a lot more attention and lots of rewatching the videos but the flow of lessons kept me focused because every small concept is broke down to understand the bigger concept. I think it good for anyone wanting to skill up.
I have really enjoyed coming back to this course after a wee break. I have been able to build something I did not think I ever could, and that feels so empowering! I hope to be able to continue my coding journey with SheCodes and beyond!

SheCodes Responsive was a real game changer. Providing so much valuable techniques once again. Gaining knowledge about multiple pages, advanced HTML links, CSS variables and advanced flexbox techniques as well as how to integrate Bootstrap. Using Bootstrap CSS Utility classes, responsive grids, images and navigation is awesome. Learning about Responsive Testing, CSS Media Queries, Multiple page Hosting and SEO. Last but not least we got into UI Design, using Wireframe techniques and Figma to start coding our portfolio multipage project. Merci 🙏🏽 to the best teacher 🚀
I was really enjoyed working on the weather app and got a lot of interesting information for myself.
My skill set is increasing tremendously and I'm excited to put my knowledge to good use in the real world. The content was created in a way that is not too overwhelming, which is increasing my productivity and is really enjoyable. I cannot wait for the next project.
Signing up for SheCodes Basic was the best decision I have ever made! The workshop was absolutely enjoyable every step of the way and I had so much fun learning how to code. I found react hard at first! But with a lot of practice, it became easier and I understand the structure a lot better.

First time working with AI and including it in a project. I had fun creating a project which can create a Haiku, based on a single word in a searchbar.

Each challenge presented with these courses builds confidence and provides room for personal growth, fostering a sense of accomplishment when faced with complex technical tasks. I thoroughly enjoyed all the challenges and the freedom of creativity the projects give you.
This is the best investment i ever made. I learned so much about the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I am working in Digital Marketing and this program helped me to understand more about coding which allows me to set up even better Website Tracking Structures.
The SheCodes React module is a must complete. Challenging & attention demanding, it bothered me more than I'd like to admit for the first three weeks, but when it sunk in? Oh! So satisfying! It really highlighted how comfortable and confident I had become with coding regular JavaScript. Matt's instructions are always clear and concise, and when even that wasn't working I used the support of the SheCodes Slack channels to understand where I was going wrong. Spoiler alert, I was forgetting to restart the server. I am very excited to add the React Weather Search Engine to my Portfolio.
Today, thanks to SheCodes Basics, I no longer see coding as an intimidating endeavor but rather as a creative outlet and a valuable skill set. It can be very frustrating trying to get the prompt and context right so that the AI responses with the information you want but this was such a fun project to complete. I appreciate that AI is growing and growing and will not stop so being able to understand things like this in the future will be very important.

This course has suceeded where my other learning efforts have failed! Many years ago a colleague tried to teach me C# and that did not work... I have tried self learning over the years but it hasn't worked, the courses were either not pitched at the right level, or I would start and then stop... SheCodes is perfect as the learning is in bite sized chunks, the lessons are well structured and the weekly courses and homework keeps me engaged and on track.

This workshop was fun to learn. I created a recipe generator, that I will use when I get stuck for ideas in the kitchen. This example related to me more, as I am not crazy about poetry. At first, I was a bit intimidated to move away from Matt's example, thinking it would be more confusing to learn. I am excited that this was not the case. I found that it was easy to customise and encouraging to think of other AI projects I could create to streamline my everyday tasks!!

I'm hooked!! I've just completed the Basics Add-on course and have loved every minute. I've worked through CSS, understanding Backgrounds, how to make elements stand out using Transform and Grids and I'm now familiar in Class Manipulation too, using JavaScript to make changes to my HTML code. It's been a fun project to work through one of my hobbies and bring it to life through a landing page! Looking forward to progressing through the upcoming SheCodes courses.

SheCodes Responsive taught me how to create responsive websites that could be accessed on a mobile and desktop device and respond to the size of the screen. This course allowed me to understand how developers can create amazing websites that can be used on various devices without any issues. I learned how to manipulate the placement of my images, text and other elements to design an efficient and beautiful website. I was taught to successfully use Bootstrap to create grids, CSS Utility Classes to design responsive websites for smaller screens, and practiced adding Bootstrap classes to my elements to easily and quickly add style without having to access the CSS file. The SheCodes Slack team was amazing throughout the learning process, because creating responsive websites can get confusing and frustrating. With their help, I was able to navigate through the lessons with little to no anxiety that I would be stuck and on my own.
