I always wanted to do coding even before I went to College, but I took a different career path. And now I’ve got the chance to pursue my first dream. Starting my new journey with SheCodes was really fun. Everything about coding is really new to me as this is not like any subject that we had in school, not even close, but it really excites me 😄. The workshop was divided into small lessons for easier understanding. But I must say, it’s not easy if you are not focused and determined. But I am determined! So I stay focused! I will finish this course and be proud to be included in SheCodes graduates.

A challenging but extremely fulfilling next step on my journey of learning to code. A fairly big jump from Shecodes Basics but, again, I'm just so glad a course like this exists! Re-coding the same web app from scratch in the final two weeks was an excellent way to cement the knowledge of everything learned along the way. One of my favourite things about this course was actually its 'imperfections'... Matt making mistakes and still including them in the final recordings helps give a realistic view of the process of coding - no better way to learn than from mistakes! The Shecodes slack was incredibly helpful when something wasn't working out too. Thank you 💜

I can't believe I've already created two projects since I joined SheCodes; it's only been a few weeks! For anyone else who is trying to learn code, be kind and patient with yourself. when i started the basic certificate workshop i came across a lot of challenges and that made me have doubts every time i had an opportunity to show case my skills but because of how the course was structured i managed to grasp a lot. I gained a lot of confidence as i submitted my work because I was staring to enjoy what I was doing and i am now sure that i want to pursue a career in tech. "Anyone can do it, if you are willing to put on the work", believe it.
