A good challenge that really starts testing your skills but still just as fun and easy to follow along. Really enjoy seeing everything we learn coming together at the end with the final project :)
I've always had an interest in web development I just didn't know where to start. Luckily I found SheCodes. They made it easy to start with no experience from learning the basics in VS Code to creating a portfolio. I've had so much fun learning I can not wait to start my next adventure with these new skills.

I used to study from documents, which was beneficial, but I found it lacked practical application. This course has been a game changer for me. The hands-on practice at the end of each lesson really helped me internalize the concepts. The homework and challenges were explained clearly, making it easy to understand and complete them. It has not been an easy journey for past few weeks but with help of slack pupils and SheCodes team, I managed to get through.
The SheCodes React course has been the hardest one so far, no doubt about it. React is a powerful and in-demand framework, but getting the hang of it wasn’t easy. There were times when I felt really challenged, but the support from the team on Slack was absolutely amazing and helped me push through every hurdle. By the end of the course, I was able to build a fully functioning app on my own, and the sense of accomplishment was incredible. This course has brought me so much closer to my goal of becoming a professional developer, and even though it was tough, it was 100% worth it.
The SheCode program has been an absolute game-changer for me! Matt has a remarkable talent for breaking down complex coding concepts into easy-to-understand steps, which helped me overcome my overwhelming feelings about coding. Basics Add-on is a brilliant addition to the SheCodes Basics course. It allowed further practice of skills I picked up in Basics while rounding out my HTML, CSS and JavaScript repertoires with even more useful tips & tools. The final project was a lot of fun to work on and turned out great!

This workshop is mindblowing I came here with no idea of how to code but now I can confidently say that it is a thing of the past I'm so glad I chose this career path, React is not so easy when you start but once you put your all into it then it becomes a little bit easy to understand Matt is such an incredible tutor and coach grateful.
A really great experience. I gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, as much as SEO and user-friendly websites. Although I came across a few bugs and wasted some time working them out, each one turned out to be a valuable learning experience.

I enjoyed this "Basics Add-on" course. The journey was a bit frustrating (on the final project) but 𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘺-𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭-𝘰𝘧-𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, you know what I mean??? 💪😤✨ I got immediate lend a hand by a fellow student (or maybe she's an alumni?). She cracked the code and it's way to complicated for me at this stage. I'm hoping I can be as agile as her in coding! She's an inspirational and I think this why SheCodes existed. So women can inspire each other!
Over the last six weeks, diving into React has been a big challenge, pushing me to step out of my comfort zone. The learning curve was steep, and at times it felt overwhelming, but the material was incredibly useful. There's so much to absorb, and it can be hard to keep up, but Max's clear and thorough explanations made everything much more manageable. Despite the initial difficulties, I now feel more confident and excited about using React in future projects.

SheCodes React's learning structure is convenient to gain knowledge about web development which is somewhat different than other programming languages. The instructor has taught react so adaptable way that I was able to build the project accordingly.
I've been passionate about tech since high school, where I was the only girl in my Computer Application Technology class. I wasn't aware of opportunities like SheCodes that offer free technology education. I'm thrilled to have joined SheCodes and am extremely grateful for it.

I started the SheCodes journey with little coding knowledge but learned so much in one and a half weeks. I worked hard and dedicated my time to learning how to code and completing the SheCode basics, and I managed to finish all my tasks before the due dates. I'm going to continue improving my coding skills here on SheCodes. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to code as a beginner.

This add-on course was great, I feel I got to learn some additional skills as well as refresh some of the techniques already covered in the Basics course. The short course also allowed me to get through the exercises quickly.
