I had some basic background on coding and this course was really helpful in deepening that knowledge. I really liked the method of theory and practice put together, and the final project was really interesting :)

It was a very (very) simple project, specially if you've done she codes plus. I kinda feel like this could very easily been taught within shecodes plus, not sure it needs it's own little project. It's very similar to the final project of the plus, with the exception that because you're using intervals, it's so easy to upgrade time and date...

The SheCodes basic course was really good as an introduction to coding. I successfully completed my project, something I wouldn't have thought I would be able to do 3/4 weeks ago. It was flexible, which is essential when you're a working Mum of three! I could easily apply an extension when I needed an extra day or two to finish things up.
This was a very helpful workshop as it gives constructive advice on how to land your dream job!
The more you learn, the more fun it is! All those small projects where you can test yourself if you understood everything is very helpful.

Matt is an outstanding teacher! He is incredibly talented at simplifying complex concepts and at introducing the correct pieces of information sequentially in order to build foundational knowledge. Also, he has a very kind & soothing voice and demeanor. When listening to multiple hours of lectures, it's extremely helpful to enjoy the teacher's voice and personality. He's also funny and adds in bits of humor to some recordings. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
when i thought about changing my career path I never thought i could code but with the help of shecodes i now understand coding and also have fun while doing so a huge thank you to Matt an asweome teacher who made it son fun and easy to understand ! i can not wait to show off my new coding skills !

For a while, I wanted to learn a new skill and coding had stuck out to me. However, I had no idea were to start. There were so many different programming languages, and courses that it was all overwhelming. Luckily, I came across a free workshop from SheCodes to introduce me to the coding. I really enjoyed this and chose to start SheCodes Basics and see how I found it. I am so glad I did, I really enjoyed completing challenges and designing my own project at the end. Now that I have completed it, I feel so accomplished and might even do another SheCodes course in future!
