This program has been great and I love that I have homework on actual due dates - a lot of online courses let you work as you go with zero due dates and I these dues dates have been keeping me in CHECK! I am here for the whole she-bang and doing every single workshop and add-on projects and Imma take a stab at the CHALLENGE PROJECTS!
This workshop for beginners was very easy to follow and I enjoyed learning about the basics of coding. I also liked how asking for help on Slack was very accessible and it created a sense of community for new coders like me.
I've already taken several workshops. I always learn with the SheCodes workshops. They challenge me to learn more, and allow me to do plenty of hands-on projects.

I would highly recommend this course if you're wondering what is like to code or if you have a busy schedule but are eager to learn. To me, it was extremely useful and super fun! I learned a lot and now I'm 100% sure I will continue coding. 👩💻 I loved the way lessons are separated into short clips because it makes it really easy to follow or rewatch if needed. Matt is a very good instructor and I found his explanations very clear (thank you!). Also, I loved the Radio station 🎧 and Athena was a life-savior when I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my code. 🤖🙌✨
I really enjoyed going through SheCodes. The challenges were helpful to really grasp some of the concepts, and having the ability to work around my own schedule was great.
The course material is easy to grasp but comprehensive enough to empower you to succeed in your coding journey. And it's great that there's a community you can reach out to if needed and deadlines to keep you accountable and always coding.
I never thought I was smart enough to learn coding until I read SheCodes testimonials from these women, about having no experience and succeeding in this industry. Easy to understand!
I initially thought it was going to be daunting to learn how to code but it ended up being enjoyable. I won't lie it would get challenging but through doing my own research and the help of the Slack community, I would quickly overcome the challenge. The study material is spaced in such a way that you can take in a good amount of information in one video.The challenges were how I got to practice what I have learned and more. I thoroughly enjoyed working on the different elements in my own time, saves me from anxiety. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team! 1000/10!

The SheCodes Basics workshop was a great way to dip my toe in the world of coding while also learning real applicable skills. This workshop did a great job of challenging students and keeping them engaged, but not providing so much content as to overwhelm them. This workshop was great because it really helped me be able to see what it is like working as a developer using someone else's design. This helped me build on my knowledge of Figma and use it from a developer's POV. I was glued to this project and can't wait to build (many) more websites in the future!
I was a bit worried about starting this workshop as I didn't have any knowledge in advance. The lessons were very well explained and it was not as difficult as I expected at all. Most lessons have challenges after the videos, really enjoyed thinking about them and finding the solutions. I learned lots of new things and would recommend to anyone who thinks about starting this course 🙂

Learning react is quite difficult in the beginning but in week 6, it's like you've been doing it for a few months. It's still not easy but you definitely feel like you understand the language better.
Very pleasant workshop, I could barely feel the time passing by while I was watching the videos and doing my projects during the weeks. Very good to see the improvement in styling and the responsiveness of my web site during the weeks.

After graduating from university with my degree in graphic design, I felt like something was missing and I wanted a new challenge. During my degree, I became increasingly intrigued about the coding behind the design process and I wanted to find out more about it. Learning how to make website was both challenging and exciting. I knew NOTHING when I joined SheCodes, but in a few weeks I was able to understand basic concepts and confidently build my own website. This course has definitely opened my eyes to the possibilities that coding can provide.
