I really enjoyed creating this website for my portfolio. I enjoyed how the lessons were broken up step by step and I could see it coming together after each lesson.
Being a novice in the field of coding, the lessons were informative and easy to follow. The assignments were fun and rewarding. I have already recommended Shecodes to several family members!
This workshop was definitely a challenge for me, but it was very educational and easy to follow. It was very interesting learning how to recreate a previous project but changing it up by creating it using React.

I am glad that I completed my Shecodes plus workshop. I have learned different techniques, including html forms, advanced css, JavaScript functions, how to use open weather API and also bootstrap. This course is a great opportunity to begin learning about React. This topic is not the easiest one, but with correct explanations and examples with your own way of solving these tasks makes you more interested in React js and experienced with basic stuff and useful tricks. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Management and I was not happy with what I've studied but because I wanted to have a qualification and get a job so I can earn a living so I went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some boot camp and I fall in love with it but to enroll to that boot camp you needed funding which I did not have. My experience with the SheCodes React workshop has been both enlightening and challenging in the best possible way. React is a powerful JavaScript library, but I quickly realized that it's not the easiest thing to grasp. However, this workshop provided guidance and resources to help me navigate this complex world of front-end development.

I recently had the opportunity to participate in the SheCodes Workshop on React, and I am grateful for the experience. I would highly recommend the workshop to anyone. Because of the skills I learned from it. At first, I was nervous as I thought it was going to be hard as it was my first-time hearing of something called coding. Building a portfolio is a fun project to work on and I try not to be a perfectionist when it comes to responsive but it takes a bit of time to learn and build that kind of skills.
I'm so amazed at how much I've learnt in a span of a week! This workshop has been so much fun and Matt truly explains every step concisely. I'm also quite proud with how far I've come juggling a full-time job along with a full social calendar. This goes to say that with motivation, you can truly do anything :)

I had a fantastic experience with SheCodes Basics. The program exceeded my expectations in every way. The curriculum was well-structured, making it easy to follow and understand, even for someone with no prior coding experience. SheCodes was a good workshop for me as I have already learned how to code in school but never really understood why to use a certain element or how to use JavaScript functions. Even after delaying for months finishing up the lessons and projects, I have recently found myself going through everything fast as the lessons are very straightforward and fun, it has given me the motivation to get into coding again after a long burnout, therefore I do recommend it to anyone who has an interest or has been having difficulties on learning how to code.

I loved the theoretical building of a weather app and over the course of the course learning to implement real time features to make it an actual app with real data. I enjoyed learning how to use GitHub in combination with Visual Studio Code and getting to host my own page. The course perfectly build on prior knowledge of the Basics course and I had fun expending my coding skills.

Wow, I cannot believe I have completed the full Max curriculum! I have learnt so much since starting and can now create webpages and webapps with different coding languages and tools. I have to thank Matt Delac as his videos, challenges and homework have guided me to this point. It has been very fun (and hard at some points). I cannot recommend this course enough and look forward to a future with all this knowledge under my belt!
Before I started the SheCodes workshop, I was looking for a task in which I could immerse myself and get into the flow. And I know that I have definitely found that in coding now. The workshop was very good structured and the topics easy to understand and to learn. Especially the SheCodes AI Assistent helped me a lot to understand my mistakes and to improve my codes very fast. I am really happy for finding this wonderful online workshops and can highly recommend it.
What a journey! I never thought I could enjoy this workshop so much. The challenges throughout the weeks are great to put into practice and the final challenge was very exciting. I'm already thinking about the next one!

I can highly recommend SheCodes Basics to anyone who wants to get an insight into coding. The very flexible curriculum makes it easy to study whenever time is given. What I liked most is, that a lot of challenges are included so that just learned content can be practised right away. I learned so many interesting things and had a lot of fun with this workshop! :-)
