The SheCodes Basic was a very fun and fundamental course to learn HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. The instructor Matt explained everything very well and with passion, which made learning easy and fun. Even though I had some parts that were difficult but I broke through them. I highly recommend sheCodes
Having taken a bit of coding several years ago, I liked seeing what the 'behind-the-scenes' text looks like to the average internet user. It's more detailed than I thought, but it's so rewarding once you figure it out and get it too look just how you want. I've been recommending this course to family and friends - and it's the career I plan on having until I retire - it's THAT fun!
When I first thought about beginning with coding, I got overwhelmed with all the information/ different programming languages out there. SheCodes helped to guide me in taking those first steps to start getting familiar with the digital environment.

React Add-on was a great project to put into practise what we have learn in the React workshop, I quite enjoyed doing it, came across several difficulties but that is how you learn and definitly feel more confidant with React although I'm very aware I still have a lot to learn ... Looking forward for the next workshop! And.... Happy Coding!!👍

The last three weeks have been very informative, helpful and fun! I enjoyed every learning experience within the program.
I learned a lot from SheCodes. The fact that every class is followed by a challenge is really great to put our knowledge on use. I used to find programming logic really difficult but the classes and the project helped me to understand the logic of the functions and how everything falls into place on the code. I watched other programming courses before but this one is the one that helped me the most and it was also the most didatic one that I did.
It was an amazing experience learning Web Development with the SheCodes Team! My infinite gratitude to Matt Delac and the entire SheCodes team for making the learning process so smooth and easy.

Program is easy to follow and understand. I appreciate having multiple tools to reference (the video instructions, webpage demo's, and source codes). By using a combination of learning tools provided, it was easy, but fun and challenging to work through the lessons. I wasn't bored but also wasn't overwhelmed.

SheCodes is a really helpful website to learn programming. It's really easy and understandable for beginners who have completely no idea about programming.

It was a wonderful experience for joining this enlightening SheCodes React workshop. It is a bit challenging for me to adapt with react framework. Throughout this workshop, I gained so much hand on experiences and knowledge about React and how to implement this framework in front-end development. As a complete beginner, this course was really easy to understand and follow. The course builds on the knowledge learned from each lesson step by step. I like that it is a mixture of learning videos and tasks, this ensures you have to implement what you have learned in a practical way too. Great that you can do it in your own time and ask for extensions if you cannot complete the workshop in the given week assigned. Will look at the other course and see how to expand my knowledge further.

I really like the course because it is aimed at beginners. Information is provided gradually, giving the opportunity to adapt to complex tasks. Despite the fact that not everything works out right away, I enjoy programming. When you fix a bug you've been looking for for a while and your site starts working, you're over the moon with happiness.

The SheCodesPlus course was a challenging but incredibly rewarding journey. The course's hands-on approach helps provide a solid foundation in web development. Here we created a weather application based on HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript and ventured through the world of API and real data. I am looking forward to learning more about responsive web development and React.js next.

It was a life-changing experience for me. As someone who was new to coding, I was first nervous to enter the realm of programming. SheCodes, on the other hand, provided me with an extremely helpful and empowering learning environment.

Learning React was a bit challenging but Mac nailed it. The explanation were detailed and helped me through each step. This workshop just made me more curious about Tech than ever.
SheCodes provide amazing courses and what makes it amazing is that the explanations are easy to understand even for someone who never learn about coding beforehand. There are also on hand practices that helps with the understanding and challenge you while you're learning. A very recommended course for coding indeed.

Since I started this course, I have gained so much knowledge and skills that I feel comfortable to continue working on my portfolio after I finish all the courses. I found learning React challenging, however having the opportunity to code whilst listening/watching the videos allows for room to understand the concepts and recreate them. I have grown so much from not knowing anything about coding, finding it intimidation to actively looking at options to kick start a my career!
So glad I have the add-on projects to keep me coding and get more practice. They're a nice addition to my portfolio and experience. I love SheCodes!
The hardest part was actually finding the time to complete the course as I was working full-time. The course itself is informative and Matt really explains everything in detail and provides examples in the videos. I liked the fact that if you were stuck on a challenge you can ask a member of the SheCodes team on 'Slack' and they will help you out with any technical question you have.

Instructor Matt does a fantastic job of breaking down the concepts. There is a good balance of demonstrating the concepts followed by practical, hands-on application of those concepts.

I have learned a lot from the basic courses, that's why I signed up for plus courses for next 8 weeks Meanwhile, I am not sure if this is actually what I am looking for, but I will know more after completing the plus courses. I like SheCodes self-pace learning system, which much more flexible than live classes as I could learn according my availabilities.
I found working on the project very engaging. It's a highly useful app with practical usage. My family was extremely impressed with the final result) The lessons were detailed and easy to understand. Thank SheCodes team for the new knowledge!
This is a nice addition to the Basics workshop! I've learnt new CSS techniques that will eventually help my projects look much better. I'm not really into the CSS transform properties and the fancy backgrounds because I think that they are too "noisy". However, it's good to know how to work with these tools for future reference. I really enjoyed doing the final project and appreciate the fact that it looks really good and much more interactive for the user. It was nice to have Matt's support throughout the project development.
learning react was definitely not easy. it's almost like learning a completely new language. But I would say that with anything, no matter how strange and unfamiliar it feels, if you stick with it long enough, you will become familiar with it.
I really enjoyed completing this course and appreciated the flexibility to do it alongside my studies.

I signed up for the SheCodes workshop in order to advance my career. What I discovered while doing the workshops is that I enjoyed programming. It wasn't hard or complex but something I could easily pick up and improve upon with practice. I don't regret signing up for SheCodes and am excited about the next set of workshops.
Learned a lot about react!
The basics add on was somehow easier than basics. Perhaps because i had an underlying understanding of code. How Matt demonstrates and explains the project, taking you step-by-step through the process makes building a webpage much simpler than you would initially think. I really enjoy being able to make pages based on my interests - it keeps me engaged. Thanks for the fun :)
In the Responsive Web Development course, I explored the fascinating world of creating adaptable websites using the Bootstrap framework. Learning about responsive design and implementing it in my final project—a personal portfolio webpage—was both engaging and practical. The course was expertly taught and made the learning process easy and enjoyable.

Sometimes it was very challenging for me even to install some of the programmes required for the course and it made me extremely frustrated. But after managing to do it and when you see the result... SheCodes Basics has been an amazing learning experience and opportunity. It is quite hard to believe that after only a couple of weeks I have been able to code my first website from scratch! I believe the program is well structured and especially well explained: Matt is a great teacher, clear, concise and linear. Lastly, I particularly appreciated the Challenges at the end of each class: it is quite a game changer, as it helps a lot to keep yourself involved and on track.
This is such a good workshop for beginners and I would really recommend it to someone wanting to get into tech. I really enjoyed the SheCodes basic workshop and it was really such a fun experience. This course was well-structured. The challenges and lessons moved in building blocks so it allowed me get a deep understanding of the concepts without burdening me with theoretical info and allowed me time to research for the challenges. I loved the challenges at the end of each lesson. They helped put the theory into perspective and challenge my thought process. I can't wait to practice more with what I've learnt so far.
