Just finished up my last workshop with SheCodes. I'm quite sad to end my journey with them but I have learned a lot. This course was definitely not easy but hopefully with what I learned, I will extend my knowledge even further.

After a year of wage-cucking (trying to salvage the table-scraps that are left of my life), I realized that the only way to take control of my life is by coding... SheCodes fits my budget. I don't have $10,000 to invest, because I don't even have $5 for lunch.

Learned a lot! Was never too overwhelmed and was able to do the challenges as a beginner. I do wish my homework and projects had a detail report on things I could improve on. But the team is great and pretty quick on answering in slack and emails.

Started from SheCodes Basics to React, by far this was the most challenging course. No doubt the learning curve for React was steep, at times the new concepts and functions were hard to grasp. However, Matt's videos always made easier to comprehend. I can't believe that I was able to build 2 React apps within 8 weeks! Looking forward to what's coming next
Did it again! I love and look forward to every lesson on SheCodes. With the amazing SheCode team and Matt's calm voice helped me go through this Plus workshop. It has been challenging but also, fulfilling. I'm super excited. I now, have stop doubting myself and it feels like I can do anything! Now moving on to React.....
What an amazing 8-week course. From being a beginner learner to being able to make a weather app work! I really enjoyed this course and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn in a great environment. The lessons were easy to follow and kept me motivated throughout the whole course. These first couple of weeks of SheCodes Basics has been awesome, I really enjoyed learning the basics of how to create a landing page! The final project was lots of fun and provides a great feeling of accomplishment! 😊 Matt is passionate about what he does and an excellent teacher, breaking down the workshop into understandable and well-structured bite-sized lessons! Keeps you interested and wanting to learn more! There is a great team of mentors to provide guidance if you get stuck. I highly recommend this course for anyone with no prior coding experience who wants to learn about Front-End Development. I cannot wait to continue with the next SheCodes Plus workshop! 😃

SheCodes gave me the opportunity to learn a completely new field... programing! Especially about front-end development and I enjoyed every minute of it! SheCodes Plus was great! It was challenging at times, but I had fun building the weather app and trying to understand javascript. I'm excited to continue onto the next workshop :)
A great workshop. Makes learning code easy and fun.
I think so far this was my favorite workshop! I loved learning about the responsiveness and getting insight on how homepage layouts change on mobile devices as well as SEO - something we use every day. I really haven't put too much thought into how all of this actually works so far but it was really, really interesting to learn and actually not as difficult as I thought it would be. Matt is a great teacher and I can't believe how much I have learned in just a couple months. There is one last workshop to complete for me and I am really excited to unlock even more skills and knowledge!

I loved all the SheCodes workshops so much !! they were so fun, colorful, informative and easy to understand. Matt does an amazing job at explaining everything. It was sometimes hard to stop watching the workshop videos because you just want to keep learning. I never knew how easy coding was !!
I've tried to learn code many times in the past but have always got stuck. Matt's classes are straightforward and easy to understand, and I've genuinely learned more in the last 3 weeks than I could ever do on my own. So excited to learn more, and to see where these new skills can take me.

This was absolutely the most fun course so far. I had so many lightbulb "ah ha!" moments and really felt the need to push myself to make my final product the best that it could be. This course made me feel like I'm ready to code anything! Really looking forward to taking on the next course with all I've learned from this one.
Amazing!! it's such a great feeling to know I have learned a new skill and with it can create projects like the Weather App. There are many pros to SheCodes, but the one thing I absolutely love about it is the fact that Matt teaches with real-life examples.

This SheCodes Basics course is the first step towards my career change to being a front-end developer. SheCodes team is beyond explanation.I can't describe how great I felt during this workshop and learning how to code from Matt Delac! I think every woman no matter where she lives or what she does,should start coding with this amazing team.I didn't know anything about coding and now I'm surprised how much I've learned in only 3 weeks.
Before I start working on this workshop, I was not sure if I could finish the course because I am a procrastinator when it comes to self-paced. However, once I start learning coding it was really fun and I enjoyed creating something new from scratch. I will keep learning until I am confident enough to explore a new career!

I enjoyed SheCodes Plus as much as I did the introduction course. Learning how to code involves a whole new way of thinking. It has so far been very challenging at times, but it's great fun when you see the end results! It's great that the SheCodes team is always available on Slack to answer any questions.
I always wanted to learn coding and after completing the SheCodes Basic workshop I can say that I really enjoy it! I loved the mix of videos, exercises and bigger projects at the end to combine and refresh everything that has been learned! Unbelievable how fast I was able to build my own landing page using HTML, CSS and JS. Thank you for this fun experience!
I have enjoyed every aspect of this course and found it perfect for my needs. The mix of learning and projects was key, plus the constant support via email and Slack channels really helped! After completing the SheCodes Basics and SheCodes Plus workshop I started with SheCodes Responsive and I didn't expect to have so much fun learning to create a responsive website. If you want to become a web developer or if you are interested in building a website from scratch, this course is a must-do as online traffic on other devices than a desktop is increasing. I would definately recommend!
I have learnt so much with SheCodes! The course was easy to follow and very comprehensive. As an absolute beginner, I was a little bit nervous at first, but now I am much more confident about my skills and ability to code.:)

SheCodes is great, the weekly learning goals and daily challenges keep you up to pace with the learnings. After the Basics workshop I still find it challenging but coding became a lot more accessible to me.
As I already had a portfolio website, I decided to continue a project from University - Cooking Goes Green! It's a project showcasing the best of sustainable food - the fact you can make delicious food without the food waste and the sheer breadth of food you can make. Take a look at the site full of the different recipes you can make!

SheCodes is great! I love how engaging and easily digestible each lesson is. The instructor, Matt, offers a lot of helpful tips and resources along the way to help you even after you finish the program. As a full-time working mom of two young children, I especially appreciate how flexible the program is. I have done a lot of research on coding workshops, and this was one of the few that had flexible schedules, relevant course material, all for an affordable price. Highly recommend!

I studied Linguistics in college. I was also fascinated by computer languages but was always unsure I could succeed in coding. SheCodes basics gave me the opportunity to try it out. I only wish I had tried this sooner!

I wasn't as confident with coding to start off and found it extremely stressful, however completing this course with SheCodes has given me a whole different aspect on coding and now I really enjoy it, this is all thanks to SheCodes. Matts videos were extremely informative and the rest of the team are also very supportive, would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to enhance their coding skills or just want to try something new and get in to the world of coding :)
I love SheCodes! Matt makes everything very easy to understand and even when I get stuck, other members are on Slack who might be having the same issue and you will find what you need. Matt even encourages you to google when you can't find an answer on Slack. I've only gotten stuck twice and found the solution easily by ways of Slack or a simple google search. The homework and projects are a great way to put everything I've learned into action and it's fun for me at the same time. Thank you, SheCodes!
I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone remotely interested in learning how to code! It is ideal for women who work full time as the classes are completely flexible and you can work at your own pace. It has been so interesting working through challenges and thinking logically in order to get the code to work. I look forward to starting the next SheCodes workshop - on to SheCodes Plus!
My SheCodes journey was incredible and it's just the beginning! Matt's voice is highly addictive, lessons are short and sweet, all little projects along the way are motivators and the support team is always there. As a matter of fact I was always intimidated by coding; now I can't recommend it enough. It was a life-changing experience.
This basic course was really interesting and helpful for me.
When I did the challenges, I barely needed to check for similar problems, I think that Matt explains every lesson perfectly and in a way that everyone can understand, and I think it's exactly what a beginner needs.
Eventhough coding can be frustrating at times, is great when you can make it work. I've already learnt alot, and hope to learn even more. 💪
I think this one was my favorite workshop so far! Loved the creativity that was required to create the final project and the possibilities responsiveness gives while creating new websites.

A very nice way to start coding again after 10+ years! Even if you have a job that takes a lot of your time, the lessons are on spot and you can follow them easily.
It may seem challenging at first but Matt explains it in a very simple way. It is really fun!
I think it was my best decision to join SheCodes! 🤩 This real-life weather app project showed the whole process of development totally from scratch. Starting with just as little as the framework, you continually growing up and gain knowledge on how to build the app step by step, function by function.
