I really enjoyed SheCodes Basics and feel that I have learnt a lot in a short period of time. I am not yet sure what I will do with my new knowledge other than impress my colleagues in the IT team at work, but I'm really looking forward to what is to come in SheCodes Plus!
I had zero knowledge in coding but had always been very interested. Since I'm in Law it's not usual to have access to any kind of class that would help me get to know this area better but now I can say that I at least know the basics and would be very much interested in continuing with other SheCodes workshops ! Loved the videos and Slack, everyone is very helpful and open to help whenever. Thank you SheCodes, Matt, Joao and my classmates !
SheCodes is the best workshop I attended. Attendance at this workshop is required for any front-end programmer.I love its courses, and I m happy in coding.

I truly enjoyed this 3 week SheCodes workshop, as someone who is brand new to coding, this workshop was a perfect introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. At the end of 3 weeks I feel as though I have good foundation to keep building and practicing on.
I was afraid I would lose motivation when I started this course, but the lessons were easy to follow and the set challenges were enjoyable and rewarding! I never felt overwhelmed by the lessons and every week was manageable on top of my studies. Would highly recommend for anybody considering on picking up another skill. Looking forward to the next workshop!

If you are even considering taking this class, DO IT!! The way the class was laid out and the challenges after each lesson really helped me apply what I was learning. I love how they connect the students through slack so you can ask questions, and bounce ideas off each other. Although I don't think I will be doing any major coding soon, this has already helped me in my current role communicating with developers and knowing how to translate business needs more clear. I am excited to continue to apply my new skill. Thank you SheCodes!!

I have LOVED doing this course and it felt like a natural continuation of the skills learned in the first two courses. Making a responsive site from scratch has really shown the power of all the techniques learned and the end result has been hugely rewarding. SheCodes is great! The videos and instructions are very informative and there is always assistance available when needed. I only did the 3 week course and am looking forward to doing more.
I had no idea what I was going to get into when I jumped into this course but it was great! It was the perfect beginner's course for easy gathering of information and the challenges required hard work but also a bit of fun.

Joined the 3 week workshop in sole intention to know what is coding all about and if I can get an idea of what these coders actually do😉!!But to my surprise ,Matt's course has designed the classes and exercises,challenges and homework in such a organized,easy and user friendly format that an avid amateur like me who knows nothing about coding or computer functions or computer languages was able to create a nice and attractive webpage at the end of workshop😜!! I'd been thinking about taking a coding class for a long time, but it didn't know how to start. I saw ad for SheCodes on Facebook and I decided to give it a chance. Matt is great teacher and I really enjoyed first course!

Coding with SheCodes was a great experience in my life and Matt was one of best teachers I've ever had. As Matt always says, I really enjoys every second I spend learn coding and solve every session's challenges. The course was well-organized and clear and I really love it.
When I first started SheCodes, I didn't have a lot of confidence in myself that I would enjoy or understand the basics of coding. It turns out, all I needed was a positive mentor and teacher. Matt always emphasized that coding was fun and attainable during his lessons. When you make a mistake, it's okay, just try again. This workshop really made me understand CSS and HTML. I was so excited that by the final weeks I could predict what was going to happen next and my list of things that I needed to fix aligned with Matt's! Really important since everything is mobile-first these days!

Really great workshop, I was thrilled to be learning so much about coding in such a short time. Everything was well explained and the lessons were very good structured - it was really useful having a challenge at the end of every lesson in order to test your knowledge afterwards. I thought that I would learn the basics and be happy with just that. This is my third workshop and I continue to love coding and learning through SheCodes. Everybody at SheCodes are so helpful whether it be answering questions directly or showing you different websites that can answer my questions. I am so proud of what I have been able to accomplish and it is all thanks to them. I am looking forward to continuing my journey with the React workshops!
The lessons were very entertaining and challenging. Having the exercises after most lessons helped me practice, follow everything and truly understand things in a easy way, and the best part is that I could do everything on my own pace.

I really loved the workshops and I will miss completing them! I highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in coding. I have learnt a lot and will hope to go forward and on to other projects in the future so I can advance and make a career out of it.

This course has been brilliant for delving deeper into coding, especially JavaScript.
We often think we don't have enough time in the day for everything we want or need to do. Don't let that stop you, when there is a will there is a way. You will find yourself coding in the evening instead of watching Netflix, making the time at weekends or getting up earlier so you can do a couple of chapters before you start work. When there is motivation, surprisingly, you have more time.
I really enjoyed this course. I work in Marketing, so while I'm not creating sites from scratch, I do help build landing pages and customize our website. This course has given me the knowledge to inspect pages and find the area I need to make changes related to copy, font colors and sizes, button actions, and more. I am considering taking additional courses to help build my personal website rather than using premade templates.
For me, the most challenging part of the learning process is the first step. SheCodes made it much better! Since the first class, you can start to code and it is super dynamic! I strongly recommend the workshop.
This was a really great interactive learning experience. The challenges at the end of each lesson were super fun! I would highly recommend it to those that are interested in exploring coding!
It was a great adventure, I put myself out of my comfort zone and I woke up every morning at 5:00 am to learn and complete the challenges. Definitely, this was the best way to start my day before going to work. Every night I felt the excitement for the next day because I knew HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were waiting for me lol
I had so much fun and learned so much during this workshop! I did not have prior knowledge of HTML and CSS and this workshop has combined these languages perfectly for me. It has been an enriching experience that I highly recommend!

It's been a few years since I've used code to build a website and SheCodes has been great for reminding me of the basics and challenging me to develop my skills further. Matt is explaining why things work (or don't) as well what guiding you through what to do. The short exercises are great for layering up your knowledge.

I love SheCodes! Matt's teaching style fit me well and the structure of the classes helped me stay accountable on my learning journey. I've tried other courses but had to take a break from them because they were overwhelming with information overload. I love how SheCodes teaches you what you have to know *at this level* so that you can practice and apply it. I learned some great HTML and CSS that I wish I learned in other classes, and picked up the basics of Javascript in last week! The final project was also really fun! I highly recommend SheCodes!
The course has been really easy to follow. I have learnt more in the last three weeks than I have in the last year trying to pick it up myself! I know that the learning I have already accomplished is going to help me progress in my career as a designer and I am looking forward to getting started on the next course!
Through this SheCodes workshop, I learnt how to make websites that are both responsive and SEO-friendly. I enjoyed the process of being able to come up with my own portfolio design on Figma to then making it come alive using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. I now have the confidence that I need to build more responsive websites in the future, and I hope to use these new skills hand in hand with my other creative skills and interests. For a basic course, this is a very good course. In only one week I felt that I learned so much! I already had a few courses about coding a few years ago, but this was so much better, for both things, remembering stuff that I already knew and to learn new things. I can't wait to start the other courses.

I was interested in coding but I found it hard to get started. SheCodes made coding engaging and accessible for beginners! In 3 weeks, I have learned a lot and also gained enough confidence that I want to continue learning to code. Matt is a great instructor who describes step-by-step and provides many tips on the best software and how to make your coding experience easier. The team were also helpful and replied fast when I was stuck.
This course was a challenge -one I am so grateful to have taken on. I learnt so much and have grown far more confident in my coding abilities. There may be more to learn, and always will be, but I realised towards the end of the course that I now had the wherewithal and confidence to tackle any issue. A wonderful course which was so well paced and explained (thank you Matt and team). I loved the workshop!!! I have always struggled to learn to code. But the lessons at SheCodes are easy to follow making it a lot of fun to learn.
It felt like we're already brought into a professional world of web design. The learning process is easy and fun, the tutorials are not at all hard to follow and it allows many creative liberties to be done on the student's part to create something they didn't know they were capable of creating.

Awesome course! Can't believe that I can now code with JS script and make a perfectly functional weather app! Some parts are definitely hard and tricky, but you stick with it and get through! Highly recommend!

Being an absolute novice was extremely intimidating...I wasn't sure what to expect. Matt's clear and concise demo/instructions, along with the small challenges allow you to PRACTICE little by little on your own, which surely allows you to build your confidence as you move through the courses. SheCodes has been the most pleasant learning experience of ANY subject I've ever taken, and I highly recommend to any woman willing to take the leap of faith like I did. This has been such an inspiration to me, that I'm taking the SheCodes React program next. I certainly am excited for the road ahead, and wouldn't have the confidence to pursue my career change if it wasn't for Matt and SheCodes!
This is not my first bootcamp. The first bootcamp I took, I was not able to complete. However, SheCodes, by far surpasses! The way the content and information was presented made it so much easier to learn the material and remember.
I really enjoyed the basics course, I feel like it was a good intro to web development and a great place to start if you don't know if you'll like it!

This three-week introduction to coding has been a blast. I've tried other classes, but Matt from SheCodes makes everything easy to comprehend! I believe that deadlines provide structure and hold me accountable. I've signed up to learn more, and I'm looking forward to seeing where these new abilities will take me.
Although I had some basics in html from long long time ago, SheCodes workshop let me organise my knowledge. All lessons are very clear and well organised! Very inspiring! I have so many new ideas to apply in my artworks and creative projects! I can't wait for more!
I found myself mesmerized by SheCodes when I was doing challenges, and I was intrigued to learn new things about how to code.
What I liked most about the course was that every learning sequence is finished with a hands on exercise. The sequences are not too overwhelming and nicely structured. I would have loved to be challenged a bit more - so I wouldn't mind if the exercises would have required a bit more own research.
I had a great time completing the SheCodes Plus workshop, the classes were structured exceptionally well to ensure it was easy and enjoyable to follow. Achieving the completed weather app was a challenging yet rewarding experience which has built my coding confidence. I look forward to continuing my learning journey through the upcoming workshops😊

I went into SheCodes with no experience whatsoever in coding but a ton of enthusiasm and a strong will to learn. This journey has been lifechanging. After finishing the SheCodes Basic I was so excited to learn about the world of coding with SheCodes Plus. Little did I know back then, how much I will learn both about coding and about my very self as well. SheCodes Plus dove me to learn more and more, to not be satisfied with the average but to go beyond my limits. I am so very grateful for this opportunity. Even though I was struggling a lot (especially with the unit the conversion lol :D), it brought me an unexpected feeling of satisfaction in the end. Creating something that actually works in the end feels wonderful. Not to even mention the amazing SheCodes team led by Matt in every video that is a pleasure to watch and consisting of so many kind people that always offer a help on Slack. Thank you SheCodes Plus! I had an absolutely great experience on building my own app from one to ten!! I admit that it was not an easy one and was challenging for me sometimes. However, there's always a support from SheCodes team, so I had nothing to worry about. Through this experience, I gained a little bit more confidence in coding and realized that more comfortable to deal with it now. I am very much looking forward to take the next step and learn more about cording.

I highly recommend SheCodes as a platform for you to learn how to code.
