The workshop is really good for busy people the fact that it has deadline extensions, and well-recorded practical lessons that you can revisit when stuck. Give it a try.

Definitely one of the hardest languages I've hard to learn so far. After many try outs, fails, and learning phases, I managed to understand the methodology of React, and grasp a basic understanding of it. You have to always keep pushing and never to be satisfied, until you are completely sure of yourself. Totally recommend to learn this workshop!
Creating the weather app was quite a challenge, but that's the beauty of it. I really enjoyed this part of the course and I am excited for the next chapter.

This basic course in coding has definitely taken me out of my comfort zone, but it has also taught me how coding brings together creativity and logic. Materials and videos are very well designed and account for specificities of online, adult and modern learning where attention span is unfortunately now what it's used to be. Time permitting I'd love to continue this journey as I have enjoyed the course enormously!

Really good interactive no pressure learning. The videos can be sped up and it is concise information and in small enough steps to complete the lessons with understanding, with enough information to make quick progress!
I enjoyed Basics so much and happily got on with Plus, but when I noticed I had missed out The Basics Add-on I had to go back and do it. I was not disappointed, further insight into CSS and JS, unlocking powerful reactive functionality. You've done it again Mat, so inspiring! 🙏
I enjoyed the React Add-On Workshop, it was great working on another project to further learn about React and how it works. It was interesting to learn how many APIs there are when creating the Dictionary Project. Matt does an amazing job at explaining everything, especially for beginners. I am so thankful for this opportunity to learn about web development. I would highly recommend all of the SheCodes workshops!

This workshop was definitely more challenging! It went more in depth on what you can do with Vanilla JavaScript, Fonts, Flexbox, APIs, how to use GitHub, Hosting / Netlify. The basics coding workshop offered a practical and straightforward introduction to web development fundamentals. The content was well-paced and easy to understand. The final project was an amazing opportunity to visualize my own creative ideas through code.
My name is Lindokuhle Yende. I am thankful for the opportunity I am given through SheCodes Plus. I am now equipped to become a professional Web developer through the skills and resources I got during this course. I can now build my own real-life projects and build a good portfolio. The projects I have built so far have allowed me to do more research and gain more insight about the diverse field of computer science and as much as I have gained so much, there is still more to learn and more other languages to master.
I loved diving deeper into multiple page hosting and making pages responsive on a multitude of devices. Learning how to (re)style pages depending on the medium was fun and really nice from a design point of view. Getting down to the nitty-gritty details of website designing has been a delight!
I was studying to be a teacher but halfway through my degree I decided it was not my calling. There were many resources for learning programming languages but it was overwhelming all the information available to a beginner. Thank you for all the work that Shecodes does. I have learned so much and the methodology is perfect for me.
My last two weeks with SheCodes has been nothig short of amazing. Wow! Alot of things I was able to do which I was previously unable to do. Before SheCodes, I tried JS with two different orgs. At the end, I end up backing out because I just could not comprehend anything but with SheCodes, Mehn! I realized how beautiful JS actually is. Sincerely, my excitement knows no bound right now. Greatest workshop I have ever attended. never really thought I would enjoy or even take an attempt at coding however this workshop made everything so easy, there were some challenges here and there which is expected if you are learning anything that you have never done before however Matt's guidance made the entire learning process a smooth one.

If you've done SheCodes basics and are on the fence about signing up for Plus - do it! Yes, JS functions and API take some time to get your head around (maybe that was just me!). Like the basics course, each step is broken down into smaller lessons so it doesn't feel stressful. I think the GitHub and Netlify week is really useful if you're looking to build a portfolio/switch careers and develop a best practice.
Easy to understand the coding and really fun to learn.
This workshop really opened my eyes! I had no prior knowledge in any sort of coding languages but Matt and the team at SheCodes really helped me understand and use the basics. I couldn't recommend this workshop more!. If you want to start your coding journey this is the place to start, tje content is very in-depth and the team is very helpful if you get stuck.
SheCodes tutorials have been insightful. The online learning videos provide you with enough information to get you started and get your critical thinking skills active. I come from a sales process background where the steps are straight forward and simple. Learning to code really opens up the mind where you have to think more in depth, literal step by step. I'm looking forward to using my new coding skills and implementing it in my work life.
