I like the fact they teach us how to make a responsive website without using Bootstrap, because you never know if Bootstrap goes down/under repair or if you have an interview, where they want you to build a website without "outside help". This also helped with translating a Figma design to pure HTML and CSS. I like making websites but I take much longer than what I should because I want to make sure it looks perfect.

After the pandemic, it became difficult for me to find work in the music field. After working menial jobs, my husband suggested I try coding. I am excited to learn a new skill that will help us accomplish our goals of moving to New Mexico to be close to my parents and our extended family.
What a fantastic add-on! I enjoyed every minute I spent working on the travel site. I realise how I am becoming more confident in many things and at the same time how incredibly much there is still to learn. Projects like this help to strengthen previously acquired knowledge and improve the process of finding solutions. Thank you for the great learning experience.
As I wrap up my Basics Add-on project at SheCodes, I feel compelled to share my extraordinary journey. This course, expertly guided by Matt Delac, has been an amazing experience. I'm grateful for this experience and excited about the endless possibilities that these new skills open up.

A useful workshop to continue studying front-end programming. The workshop requires some creativity (design), which is not suitable (easy) for everyone. However, as a result, you get the skills to create responsive websites.

I had previously attempted to learn to code but how things were explained just didn't make sense to me. I lost confidence in my abilities and nearly gave up. Phew! It's a lot of work, but I am now at the end of my SheCodes Responsive add-on project. This was an enjoyable website landing page to create. I adapted my context to fit in with my own travelled destination and therefore found it more personal in some sense to relate to. I have learnt more and am continuing to build on previous knowledge.
I'm truly impressed with the SheCodes Basics workshop. The pace is perfect, and the information is presented in a way that's both helpful and insightful. Really fun, quick 'add on' workshop to improve knowledge around styling! Great tips to improve overall aesthetic and another enjoyable week of learning. Each course gives a great chance to form more questions and find your own solutions, so the learning is two-fold.
Quite challenging - and AI is a contentious subject but a powerful tool for developers. This add-on barely scratches the surface of it's potential but gives just enough of a taste so that you have an idea of it's ability to enhance.

I've tried several coding camps and didn't do very well. SheCodes was the first course in which I retained what I had learned and understood what I was doing and why! 1000% recommend it to anyone, especially beginners.

I have always feared JavaScript but on the third attempt I have come to enjoy JavaScript so far.
Thanks to the funding i received from SheCodes, i was able to learn HTML,CSS and Java coding Basics. I enjoyed this course a lot and i am looking forward to the next courses. The course was extremely well structured. I was able to create a little website from scratch and i enjoyed it throughout. Thank you.
I loved completing this program. There is still more to learn as this is just basics but I feel as though concepts were simplified, executed repeatedly and explained well which allowed me to understand what was being taught. I would also like to point out that three weeks is the right amount of time and you can complete tasks/ challenges in adequate timing without burning yourself out. There is also an abundance of resources that are also a great help.
