I was already familiar with HTML and CSS, but JavaScript was like a puzzle I just couldn't solve. Thanks to this course, though, I finally get it! The course was super easy to follow and I enjoyed how Matt explained JavaScript. He has a friendly and approachable style, which made learning fun and engaging. Plus, I even picked up some neat tips for HTML and CSS that I didn't know before. Overall, I'm super pleased with this course and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to learn the basics of web development. It's a great starting point, and I'm excited to keep exploring more about web development in the future!
Really this was the best way to learn on my own time, each lesson is so accessible and easy to follow. Even when I was confused I was well-equipped to search for my own solutions. I love being able to show off my cute weather app too! I feel really proud of myself to know even this basic level of React.
SheCodes has made the journey of learning to code very exciting & easy. I have mastered and accomplished much more with the program's structure, along with Matt's instructing style, as opposed to me learning on my own through self-paced courses found on Udemy, etc. It's been a wonderful experience so far!

Attending to this workshop was really a great idea! I wanted to learn how to code and now I am able to create simple websites by my own. I loved the lessons, they were like recipes that teach you, step by step. It helped me a lot and kept me curious to learn more, Plus, the challenges, which were invaluable.
Learning React is not an easy task. I appreciate how this workshop focuses on key elements and models each step to creating a working weather app. There's still so much to learn, but I now have the foundational knowledge to figure out how to make functional React apps.
This add-on to the React course is amazing. You get to work again with api integration and develop your coding skills. I highly recommend this course to anyone that wants to get into the development area. Matt and all the team will support you all the way. Happy coding!
I started this adventure a bit skeptical because I have low vision and I always thought that this would not allow me to learn something that requires as much detail as coding. However, the way the lessons are structured allowed me to follow step by step. Matt Delac is definitely a great instructor. Where do I even begin?! My experience with SheCodes has been nothing short of amazing! Matt is such a good teacher. I have done a few online courses on web development basics previously, but none of them come close to this one. I think Matt must've done a teaching course or something, because he is just so good. The course is well structured, and it gives the perfect opportunities for students to test their understanding of the work as they learn. What I ABSOLUTELY love about it is that it is tailored to cater for busy women. However, although it has flexibility in terms of deadlines, having strong personal goals to achieve via the skills learnt in this course, and furthermore knowing that there are other students you started the course at the same time as you who are doing their best to finish the course, pushes you to put in the work and finish! I am so happy I took the course, and look forward to learning more through the next one. Thank you SheCodes!

I don't know about API until attending at SheCodes Foundation. I always think like that where can i get real data. While i attending SheCodes Plus class, i knew about API. So, this class is the best class for me.

Wow, this class was intense. I enjoyed learning React; you can do many neat things, and the code looks prettier. It was a very challenging class, especially figuring out how to transfer my CSS to the correct file, and which parts of your code you should leave or move into the next component to keep the design how you want it. If you take this class, utilize the Slack channels to help solve any issues you may come across. Overall it was super fun and I am excited about the next section.
Although I encountered significant challenges with a previous coding boot camp, I remain committed to pursuing my dream of becoming a developer. That's why I was thrilled to discover SheCodes on International Women's Day and decided to enroll in their Basics package. It was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I've ever made. As I did with the other workshops I have gone through so far, I loved this one! I felt as though I was touching on really important and current skills that are necessary in order to develop my skill-set even further, and I enjoyed feeling like I already knew what I was doing. This project was very challenging but it made me realize that once your start feeling comfortable with coding, everything goes smoothly and you feel more confident with the new skills you’re acquiring. Shecodes Basics is a good start for the beginning. Courses are detailed, and having challenges after each video is making easy to keep up.
Great fun! The course gets you started right away with little baby steps, but then there are some challenges thrown in along the way! Well paced, informative, and builds your confidence quickly which is important for motivation.

When I first signed up for the SheCodes course, I was intimidated by the idea of learning to code. I thought it was something only really smart people could do. In a short space of time, I was able to learn a lot, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The course was not only informative but also empowering. The experience was amazing! The course material was organized and comprehensible, even for a complete coding beginner like myself. This workshop was great for gaining some extra useful knowledge, I learned how to make responsive websites with multiple pages (which seems important nowadays as most people use smaller-screen devices) and how to make the pages SEO-friendly
