The five week course that could've gotten done in two weeks. By the end of week three I no longer watched any video or solution by week five I just kept turning things in bc already knew what it was they wanted of me. it is a waste of time but happy to get something out of it.
Easy to follow along especially if you have a full time job
I really enjoyed taking this course. The fundamentals were well taught and the challenges at the end helped reinforce the lessons. The Slack hat was also very helpful when I experienced hiccups while working on my challenges. As a beginner, this has been very helpful.

Fantastic skills to learn. more exercises and perhaps even quizzes would help with learning rather than just following/copying the videos. But an overall good investment.

SheCodes Plus was one hell of a ride for me!Putting all the stuff that i have learnt all together, it's like puzzle solving! The challenges and homework are more inspiring,on the next level and so as the lesson! I love it!
Following Matt's instructions was a good way to get a sense of the basic workflow of programming.I really appreciate his encouraging teaching style, which gives me a lot of motivation when learning to code.I highly recommend this program especially for those women who do not have a good experience with committed teachers.

I have tried other coding classes in the past and SheCodes was the only one that helped me truly understand JS. Matt, the instructor does an excellent job at organizing the weekly lessons and assignments in a way that really speaks to my style of learning. I was able to follow along and loved that after you submitted your challenge, he would go over the solution so you can understand where you may have went wrong and how to fix it. I wanted to see if coding could be for me and I loved the creativity and organization that goes into it and I'm so glad I took SheCodes Basics. I plan to enroll in SheCodes Max soon!

Great course, I learned many new tools and had fun creating a world clock web page using HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript.

I like how Matt explains complex things very easily and in accessible language. The approach to explaining new information is creative and you can't stop and want to review the lessons further and further))) Practical tasks are immediately adapted to real projects and you understand why this or that method is used in practice. I started my journey with coding in primary school, it was fascinating but I dropped it after a while and. Now, after many years I have chance to continue this adventure thanks to Matt and his wonderful team. It's clear, it's fun and it's stimulating my brain. I want to work with coding and continue my career as a tattoo artist on the side. I was looking for a long time for something which will give mi that spark and stimulate my brain and here I am :)

The workshop was really fun and, especially, it was perfectly tailored for someone (like me 😃) who had no experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script! The lessons are short and at the end of each one there's an assignment, so that you can immediately practice what you learned. I also found Athena AI very useful for every question I had during the workshop.
This was a great workshop, I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get started in coding. Everything is explained very clearly and in logical steps. Super enjoyable!

You would think that organizations that work tirelessly to close the gap between men and women are extinct. With every learn, challenge, and solution video I felt empowered. My favorite part was the project, allowing us to integrate what we have learned with our passions. I cannot tell you how excited I am about the future!
