I had been wanting to try coding for a really long time, but was intimidated and did not know where to start. SheCodes opened the world of coding up to me and I have no doubt that I will be signing up for the longer courses. Matt makes the content easy to understand and the weekly homework assignments are challenging enough to keep you on your toes but not feel overwhelmed. I would highly recommend signing up!
Finished Shecodes Basics! I have never coded before and this was my first stepping stone in the coding world. This workshop was a challenge for me as a beginner but I'm very happy with my results. I look forward to more challenges in the next workshop! Thank you Matt and the Shecodes team!

I wanted to take a coding class because I've always been intrigued by it, but I thought it was so difficult to learn. However, while in college I took a coding class and really enjoyed the challenge of the work and the elation when it finally comes together. The SheCodes basics made it super easy to grasp the concepts. I am excited to continue my journey and pivot into UI/UX & Front-End Development.
As someone who has had the opportunity to experience SheCodes firsthand, I can tell you that it is a truly enriching experience. From the moment you dive into the courses, you realize that you are entering a world full of exciting possibilities.

Having challenges for almost every module/individual session was CRUCIAL for me grasping the concepts and applying my learning in real-time before attempting the homework. This was a great workshop! I really like that I was encouraged to use more advanced code at a fast pace. I am impressed with how quickly I was able to build a new project that I can include in my future portfolio.
Enjoyed this course but a lot of tutorial videos would show you one thing and the challenge to follow would be something unrelated and not yet taught which was frustrating. Also, having to use codesandbox when the tutorial videos are shown in VS Code made it more difficult to learn.

As someone who had zero coding experience before, I was a bit apprehensive about whether I would be able to understand the concepts being taught. Throughout the weeks, I found the curriculum to be well-structured and thoughtfully designed. The topics covered were comprehensive and relevant, and I feel much more confident in my coding abilities. However, I did encounter some confusion in certain parts of the course. While I understand that coding can be complex, it may have been helpful to have some additional challenges or exercises to prepare us for those more challenging topics. Perhaps, like the previous workshop, some smaller tasks or mini-projects could have been incorporated into the curriculum to help us better understand and apply the concepts. Overall, though, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to participate in this workshop and for all that I have learned.

What an interesting and challenging workshop. I enjoyed working through the lessons and projects and finally Javascript seems to make sense. The breakdown of the lessons helps in learning bit by bit and putting it all together in the end. Possibilities are endless!

Before doing the SheCodes Basic Workshop, I thought coding was way over my head. I had watched a few youtube videos and nothing seemed to make sense. It was like everyone was speaking a different language. But this workshop made everything so easy to understand. I felt a huge sense of accomplishment after just the first few lessons. Matt made learning the basics of coding a lot of fun and very exciting!
It is a great basic program!! I really like that we learn through projects where we put into practice what we just learned.
Helpful workshop but one on one meetings or a different format may be more beneficial. Valuable info but not significant enough to truly help with the study and continued coding future.

Although this workshop was challenging, it was just as equally rewarding when I got the code to work. The support from the SheCodes team was a huge help to understand how certain stuff works and the way it should be used.
I completed a responsive design coding course that was well-structured and informative. The practical exercises and knowledgeable instructor made it a worthwhile experience. I recommend it to anyone looking to learn about responsive design.
I honestly was afraid of doing this thinking I wouldn't understand the material, but this is extremally easy to understand and if you need to go back you can, I would highly recommend this workshop!

SheCodes Responsive is a fun and challenging course. It challenges you to be more creative and receptive at the same time while helping you discover new ways of solving a problem. I have learned to use tools I previously knew nothing about!
