This course was definitely more difficult than the previous ones, however, it was totally worth it. I loved it. I really want to keep learning and I'm looking forward to seeing what's yet to come!
I've tried a number of coding courses and this is by far the best. I love the structure of the learning material and Matt is a great instructor; I can't wait to continue onto SheCodes Plus!

I have really enjoyed this coding course! It's paced brilliantly, so you are able to build on each lesson's knowledge as you go through it, and it really feels as though you've achieved something at the end of it. I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting into coding!

React is the fourth SheCodes course I have completed. I have loved the whole journey, it has been challenging at times but worth the time and effort. The React course was brilliant I really enjoyed working on the final project the weather app.

I enjoyed the course. I was use power automate recently and recognized some code as css and html. I understood what it meant, where before I just copied it as lines of text given tome to build the connections I needed.
I'm filled with so much excitement right now. I have learned so, so, so much from this workshop. I enjoyed every minute, challenging here and there, but a bit of patience with myself helped to bring me back together again. I now understand HTML, CSS and Javascript a little better, who would have thought a small girl like me from a small town in South Africa, would be out here learning the backend and frontend of a website, wow.
I started coding with sheCodes with no knowledge of JavaScript whatsoever. But now I am convinced with a little more training, I'd love to be a JS Developer.
I recently completed the SheCodes+ coding course, and I must say that it was an incredible experience. Throughout the 8 weeks, I learned so much about coding and programming, and the final project, which was to create a weather app, was the perfect way to showcase what I had learned. The curriculum was well-structured and easy to follow, making it accessible to anyone interested in coding, regardless of their prior experience. What I appreciated most about the course was the emphasis on hands-on learning. We were given plenty of opportunities to apply what we had learned, and the final project was the perfect way to tie everything together. Overall, I would highly recommend the SheCodes+ coding course to anyone looking to learn to code. It was a challenging but rewarding experience.

In this next phase of my developer journey I have created a weather app using Bootstrap, an API, GitHub, and Netlify. This experience has been incredible, allowing me to master new tools and become a more experienced front-end developer. Building the weather app was both challenging and rewarding. I used Bootstrap, creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface and integrated an API, that enabled me to fetch and display real-time weather data, enhancing my understanding of dynamic content. Yay! Using GitHub for version control and Netlify for deployment revolutionized my workflow. I'm excited to continue expanding my toolkit and embracing new projects.
SheCodes React was very instructive. I feel confident after finishing this course and hopefully, I'll be able to work on new React projects using the knowledge I've gained through this course. Matt is a great instructor, I didn't have any problems understanding complex concepts thanks to him. I had all the help I needed along the way. The support team did a great job helping me solve my problems and answering my questions. I am grateful for this opportunity that the SheCodes Foundation gave me.
At first, I found React super difficult, I didn't understand everything I was doing and didn't get why we need to use this framework. But as you follow the lessons and Matt's detailed explanations, you get a better understanding of the concepts, you look online for things you need, and you realize why this framework is good and makes our life as developers much easier! It made me want to explore more and build more advanced applications. Thank you!

This has to be the seamless I have heard learning the Use of HTML, CSS and JavaScript in 2 weeks even if the course was to span for 3. One thing Matt has taken time to stress is consistency and you watch him repeat steps in each of his tutorials. If not for SheCodes workshop I don't think I would have ever made a portfolio page. Making the website mobile friendly was a fun challenge I never thought it would be that important to make sure it doesn't look weird on mobile devices.

React.js looked so far fetched for me but Matt has helped to simplify it as much as he could. The secret is patience like he said and I can only get better and better.

SheCodes Responsive has helped me deepen my knowledge into coding and sharpen my skills thru challenges given each lesson and by building a real-life project-my very own portfolio showcasing my project to potential employers. Like SheCodes Basics and Plus, I received all the necessary tools, updated materials and software, together with their live technical support in case I’m feeling stuck and needed help with the assignments. Importantly, I can take the lessons at my own pace, it can be easily accessed any time and it’s not a problem if I needed more time to finish the course; I can ask for extension to so that I can get back to it any time I’m ready. I find it quite rewarding that I was able to solve each problem by myself, getting back to Matt’s bite-size lessons which are all very clear. He delivers topics such as advanced Bootstrap (Navigation, Utility Classes, etc.), Flexbox, Multiple Page Hosting, Media Queries, and more in such a way that it is transparent, fun to learn and easy to understand. SheCodes PLUS is definitely a step-up from Basics. I really enjoyed creating the weather app and learning the complexity of functions, api integrations, and HTML structure. I was able to follow-along to Matt's teaching, and I used Slack to ask any questions I may of had. The Athena AI was useful too, that was a nice feature.
This has been an awesome re-emergence back into the world of coding! I took some coding in college years ago and forgot almost everything I learned 😮 This course was super easy to follow and I feel like I am well equipped to go to the next level! 😄

I am in a middle of a career change and wanted to try coding to see if this was something I can do and most importantly want to do for a new path in my life. I was nervous at first about these courses being online, but SheCodes made it very easy to do and having the videos to go back and listen to Matt's instructions worked better then in-person classes. I loved it and found out I am not bad at coding! I am looking forward to learning more in the other advanced courses in SheCodes. Don't be scared to learn something new at any age. Spoken from a 44 years old 😉.
A good course with some food for thought about how to start looking for a job. The challenges really help to start building the materials and online presence you need, and the lessons outline a plan with all the useful actions to take.

It has been a great experience so far. I had no previous knowledge about coding but the instructor, Matt made it really interesting to follow and understand. though i had issues with the sound from Week One, it didn't deter my learning. The SheCode slack community is one of the best things put together by SheCodes as it really was helpful during times I got stuck. Everyone was so helpful, I mean everyone. What I have learned so far has sparked a desire to learn more and go further into coding and I am sure to spread the good news about SheCodes to my friends. Highly recommended coding workshop
Three weeks ago I knew absolutely nothing about coding. I can't believe how much I have learnt in 3 weeks! The layout of the workshop was easy to follow and engaging; each lesson consisted of a video lesson, a challenge to complete and a suggested solution for the challenge. I have thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Basics and would recommend it to anyone starting their coding journey.
Gosh! I cannot find a better word to say how awesome this workshop was; I was so afraid to try to learn coding being unsuccessful in learning virtually, Matt is an incredible teacher, and the way he explains everything throughout the workshop is incredible. This has been by far the best experience I believe that I will succeed as a web developer thanks to the tools you've given me. Excited to do more and learn more.

This part was way more difficult than the SheCodes Basic. It was just mind-blowing! But when you finish this course, you think: "It is possible". Yes, there is still a long-long way to go, so many new things to learn and master, but step by step, with perseverance, self-discipline and constant learning , we all can become better.
