City of Rolling Hills

Kampala is Uganda's capital and
largest urban city center, with a
fast rising population of 6.7 million
spread across an area of 8451.9
square kilometres.
It was originally referred to as
the "Hills of Impala" and was
founded in the 19th century when
the King of Buganda had his seat
in the hills.
Kampala is famous for its many
rolling hills which were originally
seven but have subsequently
expanded to many more.
