Grajewo is a town in north-eastern Poland and is situated in Podlaskie Voivodeship.
Grajewo has population of over 20 000 inhabitants. The photo shows the celebration of the anniversary of Polish independence on November 11, 2022. The city of Grajewo was represented by the Mayor Dariusz Latarowski (in the middle).
The name of the town comes from the name of the village that was here before called Grajwy. The coat of arms of Grajewo shows a red wolf, facing heraldically to the right, against the background of three green spruces on a blue heraldic shield.
Grajewo gained city rights in 1540 from King Zygmunt August.
One of the biggest tourist attraction is the Neo-Gothic Church of the Holy Trinity, built in the years 1879-1882.
Dairy Tradition Center – The Museum of Milk in Grajewo, established in 2016, is the only such location in Poland, which became an interesting tourist attraction in the region.
