In 2003, New York City-based music producer, Evan Rodgers was lounging on a beach in Barbados when a 15-year-old girl named Robyn confidently walked towards him and started to sing. He was so impressed with her vocals, looks, and stage presence, Rogers took the young girl back to New York to record a few demos. Little did he know, this decision would mold Robyn into the pop icon we know and love today!
