My name is Stepan (Ukrainian: Степан).

I'm from Ukraine. I was born in 2008 in Kharkiv. My owner's name is Anna, she found me when I was little. Since then, we have been living with her in a multi-story building on Saltovka in Kharkiv.

In 2020, during quarantine, Anna recorded the first video with me, and it gained several million views. Since then, Anna has been posting new photos almost every day.

In November 2021, Britney Spears drew attention with me in her post. The publication received over 1.1 million likes and almost nine thousand comments. Soon after, the Italian fashion house Valentino published an advertisement for one of their bags with my image.

On February 24, 2022, Anna and Me were surprised by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, during which Kharkiv was heavily bombed, destroying a part of the city, including residential areas, leaving dozens of people dead and injured. We were forced to leave Ukraine.

I'm safe now, but the war is still going on. And I, like everyone else, want to go home.
