Why this Website?

When we were kids, my kid sister used to watch Ants all day using my father's magnifying glass. In the monsoons, ants would try... to find refuge inside homes and this was a treat for a 6 year old with a vivid imagination. She would even name the small crevices in the corner of the room where ants would come and go. She used to point at the crevices and say, "Didi(Older sister) look! This is the Ants bedroom and that is their kitchen!" My sister's imagination is the inspiration for creating this website.

Ants are nature's undisputed kings of teamwork and structure. In an ant nest there is NO leader, no boss telling everyone what to do. Yet they organise themselves into colonies exceeding 7 million individuals!!
