The cat (Felis catus) is a domestic species of small carnivorous mammal. It is the only domesticated species in the family Felidae and is commonly referred to as the domestic cat or house cat to distinguish it from the wild members of the family. Cats are commonly kept as house pets but can also be farm cats or feral cats; the feral cat ranges freely and avoids human contact. Domestic cats are valued by humans for companionship and their ability to kill rodents. About 60 cat breeds are recognized by various cat registries.
Cats can be obtained in various ways. For example, you can find one on the streets; make sure to check if it does not have a collar, if it does then don't take it home. After you have 'kidnapped' your cat from the streets, print out some posters, asking if someone by any chance misplaced their cat. In case no one responds, the cat is officialy yours. Better option is to go to the shelter and get a cat there. They have plenty of cats!
Cats require a source of water, food and entertaiment. You can provide them water by simply filling water-tight containers with water. Remember to change your cat's water everyday. Cat's food is avaliable online and offline. You can get some at the store. From time to time you can feed your cat some boneless meat. Entertaiment needs can be satisfied with toys, windows or boxes. On top of that cats pee and poo so you should invest in a litterbox.

Adult cats have established their basic temperament and personality. They donβt require as much time and supervision as a kitten. Still, there are a couple important considerations for an adult cat:
Cats in the mature stage are the human equivalent of 40-50 years old. Mature cats tend to be less active than adult cats. They may need special considerations based on physical issues. Yearly veterinary exams will help identify arthritis, weight or dental issues, which are more common in mature cats.
In their golden years, cats often sleep more, eat less and are not as active. Senior pets may need help getting around, especially accessing litterboxes so the height of the box may need to be adjusted. Pay attention to these special considerations:
Geriatric cats inevitably encounter medical issues. Veterinary exams two times a year are recommended at this stage. Keeping your pet as comfortable and healthy as possible is of upmost importance. While the geriatric stage can last years, be prepared to make difficult decisions about when it is time to say goodbye. π
