Katie McCabe is an inspiring role model for young women aspiring to be footballers, especially in Ireland. She grew up in Dublin, Ireland with her parents and 10 siblings. Family is very important to her whic she shows with her own family and her football families as she plays for Ireland and Arsenal. Katie is a versatile player and will play pretty much anywhere she is asked and always makes sure to spend time with her fans after each game. She has come a long way from needing to swap kits in aerport bathrooms when Ireland did not have enough kits for each women's team to becoming Captain and working hard to get more recognitions for women's football.
