Lyra Hoop.
Dare to fly with us! 🖤
LYRA or AERIAL HOOP
It’s my way of escaping the real world. When I jump on the ring I
feel I can fly, I just hear the music and transport myself to a
beautiful moment. I just dance along with the ring.
The Lyra is a large metal or aluminum ring that is suspended from the
ceiling. Performers use the hoop to execute a variety of movements,
including spins, poses, and drops.
The aerial hoop offers a variety of physical and mental
benefits.
It’s a full-body workout that helps to build strength, flexibility, and
endurance. It also improves balance, coordination, and spatial
awareness.
Plus, is a fun and creative way to express yourself and build
confidence.
The origins of aerial hoop can be traced back to the traditional circus arts of the
19th century. Originally, the aerial hoop was made of a
solid wooden circle covered in cloth. It was suspended from the ceiling
by ropes or chains and used in combination with other aerial apparatus
such as trapeze and rope.
