I've always been involved in crafty projects - and for the longest time I was convinced that coding is for sure not something where I could explore my artistic side. Furthermore, coding always seemed a bit intimidating and impossible to start. But SheCodes workshop proved me wrong - and I am so happy it did! Those three weeks showed me how coding is super artistic, very logical and not scary at all.
This workshop is really helping me learn code. It's simple to understand, gives me advice on how to improve and also lets me communicate with other people also taking the course so we can learn together.

I loved the 3 week coding class, I've never coded before but I can't wait to learn more! Classes were really easy to follow and I liked that you were encouraged to work out problems by yourself.
Several times I've wanted to start to code. With SheCodes I finally did it. It was so interesting and fun to learn. I found a new passion and hopefully new perspectives for the future. I'll keep it up. So thankful and happy that I got this chance.
SheCodes React makes it very easy and interesting to learn React. I really enjoyed the format with short lessons, each directed to a specific topic. This makes it much easier to keep focus, instead of being bored in a long and dull lecture or being "bombarded" with several subjects at once. Now that I have a strong foundation in React, I feel prepared to kickstart my career in tech!
I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and would definitely recommend it! It's easy to follow and well explained but it also challenges you enough so that you can figure things out for yourself. Looking forward to signing up to the next levels!
SheCodes was very easy to learn with and Matt gave me an excellent teaching experience. I really enjoyed every lesson and challenge, and I fell like these were 3 very productive weeks.

I've always been intrigued by coding but it always seemed so "big and scary". I work in Marketing and was seeing more and more employers requiring HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge, and I didn't really know where to start. This being said, I'm so glad that I stumbled upon SheCodes. Matt is very relatable, and makes coding a lot less intimidating. The lessons - although sometimes challenging - are easy to understand, and I was always able to get help whenever I needed it via Slack. Thank you so much to João for always helping me when I get stuck and providing really detailed answers to my questions, as well Daniela for always checking up to make sure my experience is great! Overall, I really enjoyed this course and I recommend it to anyone who wants to dip their toes in the coding world!

Having completed the SheCodes intro course I just had to sign up to SheCodes plus. Great course, I've learnt so much and really feel like I'm getting to grips with coding. Onto SheCodes react!
This course has been a great intro to coding - I've learnt a ton, and I feel more comfortable doing other tutorials or courses now that I have the basics of HTML, CSS, Javascript and React down. I'd absolutely recommend the course to anyone who's interested in coding.
My only regret is not having discovered SheCodes sooner! Coding has always been something I wanted to learn and I finally found the perfect bootcamp for it. Can't wait to continue my journey here!

I learned so much from Matt in the last 3 weeks. It was very hard work but definitely worth it. I went from knowing nothing about coding to being able to build my own website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm a university student so I was able to do the basic SheCodes course on the weekends next to my studies. I'm really proud of how far I've gotten in such a short amount of time. Happy Coding :)
The WHOLE program was absolutely fantastic ! It's very well structured and with Matt's very fast speaking speed indeed, you somehow push yourself as well and just get it done 😂😉🙌 Also, my very demanding full time job had me postpone the final project deadline twice and the staff was very understanding and patient, kindly explaining the rules (how it's allowed only once) but also encouraging me on the way. I feel so accomplished now and most importantly, I had FUN. Looking forward to the next program sometime early next year.

I loved the React course and have learnt a huge amount! It has definitely been a challenge but the way the course was structured meant that we were gradually taught new techniques in a manageable way and there was always plenty of support and help available if needed. SheCodes is an incredible platform. The videos contain concise and clear explanations, the challenges make us immediately practice what we have learned and the final project has an effect of satisfaction for having to use everything that was taught during the modules. I'm really glad i took the time to check-out the free workshop because it made me feel that more comfortable with enrolling in a beginners 3 week course with Matt, founder of SheCodes and awesome teacher. The information provided is explained thoroughly and all the necessary tools are provided. The lessons and challenges were so engaging they kept me hooked to my laptop for hours. The beauty of participating online though, is having the flexibility to study whenever i had the time. There is always someone available to help or advise. So happy to have gained more confidence with HTML,CSS and JAVASCRIPT. I totally recommend SheCodes.

This was a good intro class. A couple of the lessons were a bit confusing but overall it was a great introduction to most of the concepts.
I didn't know anything about coding and I ended up programming a page from scratch! I think is important to learn about this even if you don't want a career in tech, because now you can use programming skills in almost every job.
The course helped me get a better understanding of coding elements but sometimes I felt as though the videos could have explained more what was to come in the challenges. It's also unclear what makes the workshop specifically directed toward women.
I had no previous coding experience and I found this workshop to be equally fun and challenging. I appreciated the structure of videos and challenges each week. I am excited to continue learning in the next workshop!
It was so much fun! I learned so much don't get me wrong it was challenging but it was broken down into little segments before I knew it, I started to understand the coding lingo. Great introduction!

Firstly, I would like say Thank you!. Never in my life I would thought that I can code a page . It was always my fear that something that I am not capable of but, this 3 weeks workshop completely changed my mindset and made me believe that I can become a coder. Before beginning SheCodes, I was intimidated by the nature of coding and just assumed it was something that was beyond my abilities. Now that I have begun to play around with coding and styling, I am excited to apply these new tools towards future projects. Working in computer programming and software development finally seems to be within my reach!

I have been trying to code for quite a long time but didn't know where to begin. But then I heart of SheCodes, and now I know the basics and can take things from there much easier. SheCodes makes coding easy but is also a bit expensive. I would also love it if you could take the workshop in 4 weeks instead of 3, because some people can be quite busy, and need more time. But all in all really great.
These lessons were really easy to follow and increased my confidence to try and explore the world of coding. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning a new skill or has an interest in working within the tech industry 🙌🏼.
These real-world projects help you get an understanding of the basics of web design. You feel so proud to complete your first web page! Matt has easily accessible videos, which help you gain confidence in exploring things you don't quite know about yet.

When I was youger I learned html, but without practice I forgot a lot of things. With these course I started to remember those things, but the real magic is how Matt easely explains the course, he gives tips and documentation that are very valuable.
Highly recommend! The lessons were structured well and were easy to follow.
I learned loads, I still cannot believe I have created a fully functional app all by myself!!! I was worried the online course would not be sufficient or lack support, but I am pleased to confirm this was not at all the case. The videos/tutorials are very clear and I am very thankful to Matt and the team (overall João) for all the assistance throughout the course!! Highly recommend it for anyone who desires to start coding.
Coming into the workshop I had no prior experience at all, but Matt made it easy to understand each lesson. Working full-time, it is hard to find courses that fit your schedule but SheCodes is different, you can watch the videos on your own time. Would definitely recommend it!
I can't believe how much I've learned with SheCodesPlus. Not only that, I had a lot of fun doing it. The lessons are so helpful but the challenges really push you to apply the information from the lesson without just regurgitating what Matt said. Matt is so knowledgeable and encouraging and the SheCodes staff is just as awesome!
I have looooved this course! I have always wanted to learn to code and done so many courses but just didn't get it or wasn't engaged. This is super engaging, allowing you to code from the first lesson and with an amazing support system of the team and fellow students. Honestly so chuffed with what I've learnt. I loved it so much a crammed all 3 weeks work into 1!!
Can't believe I did it! I am so bad with logical and maths stuff from my childhood and I would never thought I could understand coding. Nothing is impossible, and actually it doesn't ask for same skills than scientist stuff. Matt's courses are really clear and I loved doing exercices step by step to understand all the pictures. It will help me a lot into my new UX designer career! I highly recommend SheCodes!

I wasn't expecting to have such a great community behind this workshop. I was very surprised that I got the motivation to finish the 3-week coding workshop. Looking to complete more workshops with 'SheCodes'.
SheCodes Plus was challenging but it helped me to practice my HTML and CSS skills, learn advanced JS and familiarize myself with Git, GitHub and Netlify. I built my weather application with real-time data by using the OpenWeatherMap API.

I am a computer science student and I join the SheCodes community over the summer because I wanted to learn front-end programming. I lacked confidence even knowing back-end, but taking these workshops gave me so much confidence programming in front and back development. I would recommend these classes to anyone at any programming level you may be at. Awesome community, instructors, and content.

Definitely the best entry into development if you don't have any clue where to start! The pace is a bit fast, but with a little help from Google you quickly grasp the concepts. Very cool skill to add to my resume!
When I first stumbled upon the SheCodes website and workshops, I never thought I would fall in love with coding in such a short period of time! The video tutorials were very informative and beautifully presented and I can't wait for the continuation of my journey in the more advanced workshops. :)
I loved this beginners course and will definitely be signing up to the more advanced course! I'm a visual learner so I loved the video tutorials and the documentation for each class was helpful too. Hello, everyone! I am Elizabeth Romo and I wanted to share my experience with completing the SheCodes Workshop, it has been a learning experience. I honestly did not know anything about coding, but I was ready to learn and dive into this new coding world. It truly has been amazing I have learned so much in just three weeks. I like to look at coding like architecture, which is what I majored in. It starts off with the foundation and then the floors, walls and all the materials and components that go into a building, just as similar in coding there is the body, the head and the three languages (CSS, HTML and JavaScript). The coding world is so similar and different, but unique in its own way. Seeing a page come together gives me a great satisfaction. Knowing that I made it and that I could accomplish anything. So, go out there and start your own coding experience. I truly recommend it to everyone.
