SheCodes has enabled me to get introduced to and understand the basics of coding. ly I highly recommend it.
Great opportunity to start coding and made first project. The lessons are really understandable for person who hasn't got IT degree. Moreover you can always ask for help on slack if you have any problems with your code. I recommend that course if you want to try yourself in web developing.
I am definitely not regretting spending three weeks learning how to code with SheCodes! The course was very understandable and I truly enjoyed Matt's teaching methods for someone like me with zero knowledge of the coding world. I've learnt so much with this workshop😀 Matt is a great teacher so, the classes are well guided and explained. I've always wanted to learn how to code. However, most of my friends told me that coding was way too difficult. Luckily I discovered SheCodes and can now prove them wrong 💪 I really enjoyed this workshop as it is very well structured and easy to understand. I particularly liked the fact that after almost every lesson there was a task to be solved 🤓 I totally recommend SheCodes to all women with no coding background! 🤩

The three-week workshop is a good way to get some orientation in coding, but you only scratch the surface. The videos and explanations are very clear and the challenges helpful to internalise the content.
The lessons were taught well and the challenges were set at a good level. It's definitely made me think I can carry on learning how to code myself!
So much fun in learning what's behind the scenes, couldn't of imagined this is what it takes to create a page. The lessons were super easy to follow and very clear. There is so much more to learn and I'm super excited to see what's next!
SheCodes is great! I just finished the 3 week course starting from absolutely 0 knowledge about coding. I wanted to see if it it was something I could potentially pursue on a higher level. This coding workshop is very easy to understand and I really enjoy it! Especially got the deadline to submit homework. (I know you might think is weird but I found that I enjoy this challenge!) I have learned HTML/CSS before but that time I wasn't interested(+busy) to dive deep into it. I totally recommend who has no coding background start learning at SheCodes.
I would Highly recommend this workshop! I wanted to know the basics of programming and now I feel that not only I learned the basics but I could actually apply them in a project that I am proud of. Great online classes, I have learned a lot over the past few months. The video tutorials were very clear and the workload has been very manageable. I found it useful having access to the Slack group and other student's projects when tasks became challenging. Looking forward to learning more.
Being a liberal arts major, who has zero background in anything tech, this 3 week course gave me an opportunity to discover a skill I never thought of gaining. I enjoyed how beginners friendly this course was. The fact that that it was only 3 weeks long, it was easy for me to commit. I enjoyed how each lesson had a challenge and homework which made me feel productive and wanting more. I appreciate how thoughtful Matt was when creating this course as it allowed me to feel less intimidated of tech especially coding. I recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone!

Love the challenge this presented me to advance my Javascript. The course is really well put together and the assistance if you get stuck is absolutely brilliant. I had so much fun putting together this project.

I really wanted to get some basic coding skills, and I have to say this course was way more entertaining than I expected! The lessons were easy to understand, I loved the challenges, the support on Slack was super quick and helpful ... I guess I couldnʼt be more excited :)
I lost my job due to COVID leaving me feeling really down about not finding work! SheCodes kept my mind sharp and has given me the confidence to head back into the work place with a new set of relevant skills 😁

I wouldn’t recommend the workshop to people who already been through computer science class especially React. On the other hand I highly recommend this workshop for people who want to learn React or take their first steps into programming / development. I had fun during this workshop, it was nice to challenge myself and to try new things, as well as to improve my knowledge. The team is always ready to support you, even with problems that I had created myself by creating the project differently than requested, because I wanted to challenge myself a bit more. Thanks to you all, it was a fun time.
I would certainly recommend SheCodes. After having been interested in programming for a while, I followed a course but I got stuck on JavaScript. I didn't want to give up so I decided to give it one last try. Thanks to SheCodes, I now 'understand' JavaScript: I can see the logic behind it. The explanations are very good and you can practice everything immediately by doing the tests. All in all, I really liked this course.

I have had a great time learning how to code with SheCodes. It not only teaches and gives suggested answers to each tutorials, but also allows us to ask questions when we face problems with our coding. Besides, the deadline of each week's homework disciplines me to pass up my project on time as I tend to procrastinate a lot. For me, it was the best decision to sign up for SheCodes.
I really liked the course as Matt explains every step in detail and you have the freedom to watch the lessons whenever and wherever you want. I like the structure of the self-study course and you also get support when you got stuck but you also learn how to look up public developer pages and find own solutions.
The coding workshop has been a god way for me to better understand limitations of HTML when talking to developers :)

Was a very thorough course and was super easy to follow with Matt every week. The Lessons were very comprehensive as well.
This workshop really helps me to understand more about coding. From now on I could have easier communication with my peers in development and therefore understand them better. I decided to continue my coding journey with SheCodes after learning a ton in the intro workshop and finding that I really enjoyed it. I really love this style of learning because you can revisit the difficult material as many times as you need. I really benefited from looking at other student's codes and problems in Slack when I would get stuck. João is amazing and quick to help! I'm leaving this workshop feeling accomplished and excited for React!

I've always wanted to learn how to code, so when I saw an ad for these workshops I was immediately excited. The platform and the way the workshops are made, are mostly self explanatory and even if you have questions, there's space to ask them. Next to all of that I loved the community of all the women learning how to code. No questions were invalid and I felt empowered by reading everyone's story.
Spot on! The lessons, the homework, every class is fantastic and fun! Matt makes it so enjoyable and easy! I wish I had came across SheCodes sooner but now that I have I can't wait to enrol on to the next level!

Within just three weeks, I learned a lot! I always saw codes while dealing with stories at work, but I never understood them. I have really enjoyed the course; it's very challenging, but support is on hand and Matt's style of teaching is easy to follow. I have found the community supportive and it's allowed me to learn new skills which I've really enjoyed.
I'm very glad I took the entire SheCodes series. I strengthened the skills I already had and I've still learned so much, even though I have taken a few intro coding bootcamps. Honestly, React doesn't seem nearly as intimidating now as before I began the React workshop. In general, there are are quite a few things I'd already run across before while learning JavaScript but I didn't fully grasp them until I took these workshops. Matt walks you through the lessons in a very approachable way and the slack community definitely keeps you from feeling like you are on your own to figure things out. I highly recommend this series to anyone wanting to learn JavaScript and React.

I enjoyed the workshop. My only thing is I am a visual learner so having to look up code that wasn't shown made it difficult for me. However, I was able to go outside of my comfort zone and enjoyed the challenge. Plus I was able to find the items I needed to complete this workshop😊

This course is good eventhough its so basic. You should also explain the logic of how the loops work. Maybe you can also include the While-When loop and other loops.

The SheCodes beginner coding workshop was awesome. I went into it with very little knowledge and came out of it creating a webpage that I was actually proud of. The way HTML, CSS and JavaScript are taught, really made me retain the knowledge. I found it easy to recall what I had learned when having to put it into practice.
