This was my last SheCodes workshop and I can confidently say I understand all the basics by doing all the previous workshops. I have a solid portfolio that I am proud of and I am so glad I decided to started coding with SheCodes. I found my passion for tech and want to share this everyone!
Excellent hands-on workshop; I'm proud to showcase my live weather app final project. It was rewarding noticing myself getting better and better at manipulating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and integrating APIs and using Netlify/Github as would a coding professional. I'll definitely be moving forward with SheCodes React and Responsive to continue on the path to becoming a Front-End Developer.
This workshop taught me how to create a basic website step by step so it was easy to understand. Furthermore, I could manage my schedule in 3 weeks because it's online.
I started my coding journey with SheCodes and took up the Basics course. Never would I have imagined at the beginning of the year that I would come to admire the coding world (me being a self-confessed tech idiot) and all its endless possibilities. Thanks SheCodes.

I loved the steady progression of SheCodes Plus! Matt and his team did a really amazing job of breaking everything down into manageable pieces. I didn't have any coding experience before finding SheCodes; I find that the way the courses are set up makes it easy to understand and apply techniques. It is such a cool feeling to know how to build and host an application.

I started as an absolute beginner with no coding knowledge at all. The lessons took things in small steps, but this built up quickly and I was amazed how much I'd learned just by the end of the first week. I really enjoyed creating my final project and am keen to learn more!

SheCodes Responsive has been a engaging and challenging experience. I have enjoyed growing my coding skills from SheCodes Basic, to SheCodes Plus, and now to SheCodes Responsive. I am very excited to continue my coding journey alongside SheCodes with SheCodes React!

SheCodes Responsive was a great course ending with an awesome full website portfolio project, encapsulating everything I've learned up to this point. The work feels in line with what's expected in a front-end development career. The process of trial and error throughout the course also helped me learn a lot about the process of coding and the importance of being creative with solutions and persistent in resolving issues.
Loved it every step of the way! Feeling confident about my newfound knowledge!

I was looking for some sort of change in my career and didn't really know where to begin as I was extremely hesitant about going back to school. That's when I came across SheCodes. It sparked an interest in a new path for me! Online learning has never been my strong suit but it turned out to be easy to follow and I would encourage those that have been in the same boat as me to take a chance with SheCodes.
I heard so much appraisal of SheCodes before, but I never realized how amazing this workshop would be until I participated myself. so I highly recommend SheCodes specially to those women who tend to learn coding without attending in computer school or any related major in university. why? because Matt Delac is the best programming teacher I've ever had. He tries to make it as simple as possible and the learning flow is so smooth that you completely enjoy coding!
I was beyond lucky to land a job as a product owner in tech without any prio tech knowledge. However, understanding my product and making decisions have been a big challenge for me until I enrolled into SheCodes Plus and got a hands-on experience into what coding is all about. Since then, I understand my developer team much better, I communicate on a deeper technical level and I get things done with a better precision, deeper knowledge but most importantly - with a higher confidence in my skills and my decisions. This last workshop was challenging but also rewarding. I completed two applications in React in less than five weeks! Thanks so much to Matt and the SheCodes team. The guidance and support from Matt and the team in Slack are very helpful, and all questions I had during this workshop were resolved super quickly in Slack as well. I am gonna miss working on the workshops!!

I really enjoyed working through the lessons. The homework is the best bit because it makes you do something, not just watch the videos like a movie! Matt is a great instructor and the Slack channel is fantastic. Can't wait for the next courses.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Matt is a great instructor and explains everything very well. Each lesson is easy to follow and broken down into bite sizes, making it easy to learn at your own pace. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who may be considering learning coding, but aren't sure if it's for them - this is the perfect introduction.
I did not have any experience or self taught knowledge of coding prior to starting this workshop. Matt is an excellent teacher! I am falling in love with coding and I cannot wait to continue on in my journey!

Very enjoyable and digestible introduction to coding! Prior to the course I had no knowledge on the subject, but the material is well explained and the support provided by the community is great. Definitely gained new (basic) skills as well as an understanding of coding.

As a beginner, I had no idea what HTML, CSS, or Javascript even was before this workshop. The videos walk you through step-by-step for each lesson, so you never feel lost. Although it was challenging, it was like doing a puzzle every week. I highly recommend SheCodes.

I never thought I would be able to read javaScript. I had so much fun coding these. The instructions were very easy to follow and I was able to complete this in less than 2 weeks. so happy with what I have learned :)

SheCodes Plus was such a wild ride! I really did have a great time. So many challenges and so many emotions, all resulting in a website I'm so proud of! There were times I was frustrated, but there were a lot more times where I was so satisfied to have been able to create this thing I had in my mind! Coding is proving, each day, to be a more and more useful skill. I'm so happy I got on this journey, I'm going to continue with the next workshops, the classes and the community make it so easy and fun to learn!
I am a software engineering student and I enrolled in the workshop for beginners just to have background knowledge before I start my web programming course. However, this workshop gave me more than the basic knowledge needed to ace my web programming courses. Thank you!

As a completely unexperienced coder, this course really helped me begin my journey. All of the TAs are so helpful! The lessons are clear and direct. Thanks to SheCodes I'm a few steps closer to my goal.
Not just informative and easy to follow but fun as well! I found the steps to be easy to follow and encouraging to actually be able to put what I learned to use immediately and see some fun results. It's also great that we're encouraged to branch out and experiment with what we've learned to make each project our own.
It has been challenging and frustrating at times, but also very very rewarding and satisfying when you finally get your code right.
At the very beginning of this course I was so passionate and eager to just dive into it and learn all about coding and learn the principles/basics of the programming languages used in the web these days and I would be lying if I said that this passion had died out during the process of learning, as throughout the course I met challenges and obstacles at some points where I was trying to understand something or achieve a certain goal, these challenges had only encouraged me to keep going and to finish and submit everything on time, and now that I have done it, I feel satisfied and proud of what has been achieved and I will definitely keep exploring this world or programming in more depth in my upcoming days :)
It was a great experience. The workshop schedule is very flexible but I found that once you start coding it's almost addictive and you can't stop until you've done all your challenges :). It was great to have this introduction to coding and realise that it can be understandable, accessible and quite fun!

It was so much fun! The teacher is great at explaining and makes it look easy wich make learning coding a great new experience. The little exercises were a great way to consolidate everything that was learned on that lesson. Overall opinion, 5 stars!

Yet an other great course, I very much enjoyed learning how to use API and how powerful it can be in a project such as a weather app. Thankful to the SheCodes community and the team because I never thought I could do this 3 months ago.
This course was a lot of work and quite challenging at times, but very rewarding in the end. I've learned a lot over the last 12 weeks and am looking forward to continuing my coding journey.
I really enjoyed this introductory course to coding by SheCodes! As someone without any prior knowledge of how coding works, I appreciate how Matt makes the content very accessible through bite-sized videos and challenges at the end of each lesson for us to apply the skills we learnt.

SheCodes Basics Workshop is a great way to get started with coding: tuition for The Basics is a great value, participants' assignments are reviewed by humans and, with Slack, there's quick help with questions. I like Matt's calm, easy manner. He shows learners that coding is something most everyone can learn and reminds us that nothing we do in coding class will cause our computer to explode 👩💻--useful advice if you're new to code!
SheCodes makes learning about coding in a direct and fun way. Everything was straight to the point and the exercises were a direct reflection of the material learned.
The course has been amazing! It's organized in a way that's very easy to follow, even for complete beginners. I also really like the fact how Matt encourages you to explore things on your own even if they are not explicitly discussed in the initial tutorials. That gives us more opportunities to explore on our own, and it has helped me grow even more.
I love SheCodes! It was so easy to follow all of the challenges and I learned so much. I can't wait to continue my SheCodes journey.
