My coding experience with SheCodes thus far has been nothing short of amazing. The lessons were detailed and easy to follow. For hands-on learners like myself, the lesson challenges are a perfect way to enforce what was previously learned. Matt did a great job with this workshop and I look forward to gaining more experience coding!
React was definitely challenging but once you understand how to create new components and incorporate APIs the final result is rewarding.

This workshop is great for those trying to get their first foot inside of React. I enjoyed working on the two projects, Weather App and Dictionary App. I found it very nice to have built a Weather App on Vanilla JS from the previous workshop and then again in this workshop, allowing me to learn the differences hands on and the powerful functionalities of React, but also learning the basics of Javascript through the vanilla project.
This course is recommended if you want to learn more about a popular JavaScript library. For example, it's interesting to see how React differs from 'Vanilla JavaScript' and how you can achieve the same thing with fewer lines of code, which keeps things a lot clearer. You learn a lot while making 2 projects.

I can remember couple months ago I wanted to start coding but had no idea where to start ! I am so happy to find sheCodes ! SheCodes React was really challenging. At the beginning I was totally lost, but with the smooth pace of the classes I was able to understand how React.js works and how powerful it is. The advanced workshop was definitely challenging but I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have learnt a lot, it made me do a lot more research based on the design I wanted and the support was phenomenal! The weekly modules were very easy to follow, the homework really made you think. There was a a great balance between technical and creative aspects! Having a look back at my final project, I am so proud and I can't believe I have created that! :)
I have enjoyed myself while deepening my knowledge in Programming, as this course has really been enriching. The opportunity to build and design from scratch an app, as well as to host it and see that it works has been so worth it.

Honestly, this workshop gave me a sense of meaning during the holidays. I was bored out of my head so I decided to sign up on a whim, but it turned out to be one of my better life choices. I ended up learning about a whole new frontier and gaining a new skill. I'll most definitely sign up for another workshop once the next holiday month arrives.

SheCodes is a great online platform for learning coding. There is no prior coding knowledge required for this SheCodes Basics program. It was a fun learning journey. The curriculum is well designed and very supportive staffs to help you throughout the process.

It was a really hard project but worthwhile. I love the staff so much because they were always there to help me when I was having trouble.
This workshop has made me realized that coding is not a one fit for all devices. It is an on going process and you really have to continually test out how your code/website look for different device sizes. I am thankful for this workshop because without it, I wouldn't have had a thought on making my code look good in a small, medium and large devices. It would have only looked presentable in one and a jumbled mess in others.
I wish I had more time! Being very busy I took advantage of the Christmas vacation and I had a lot of FUN by learning this! The support is awesome but you probably won't need it! The video lessons are so clear that you probably won't need any support at all!

Great start of the year! It was awesome to finally being able to create my own website. Matt explains very well and I could follow his instructions easily.
I was really looking forward to finally being able to build responsive pages. I enjoyed the course a lot, also because of the insights into Figma and other design tools. Now I'm excited to see what the next station "React" has in store.

This has been amazing! I had previously tried to learn some programming languages but most information didn't stick. Throughout this workshop, I gained more confidence while having fun with the tasks. The course is very well-structured with tutorials that are very easy to understand, followed by homework that helps solidify this theory and put it into practice. By the end of it, I feel like I've acquired useful new skills that I can't wait to improve on.

It feels amazing to be able to put together an actual portfolio website from scratches - I never thought I'd do it but with lots of trial and errors I finally made it! To be very honest, I did not believe in myself at the beginning. I thought that coding is only for the IT guys who have studied it for years. But I gave it a shot anyways!
