Prior to SheCodes, I had no core experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The way Matt has structured the course, assignments, and projects has been thoroughly enjoyable. I learned so much in such a short amount of time, and I had the opportunity to create a project that suites my own interests. The guidance provided throughout this workshop has been so helpful and creates a wonderful sense of community despite this being an online workshop.

It was an incredible learning experience. Good content and good workload for those like me who have to reconcile with their professional life.
At times challenging, depending on how good you are at logical thinking, it was definitely a new way of having to think for me. But I'm overall happy with my project, and all the deadlines really helped as well.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to try their hand at coding. It's a lot of fun to be able to build something from scratch and immediately see the result. Matt explains what he's doing step by step and if you ever get stuck while you're coding you can just hop on to the Slack platform and ask for help. I'm excited to learn more!

I love puzzles and I genuinely love learning so when I found out about SheCodes, I had to sign up! I material is not easy but Matt does a great job of breaking it into smaller parts & challenges so that you can really take it one step at a time. I am enjoying this process so much! Its a good course on how to make your websites responsive. Leant a lot in this module. Its been challenging and has a deep learning curve but overall its been fun learning.

Excited to complete my final set of workshops, I hope SheCodes will offer a backend developer program in the future. As someone who never thought coding would be for me, I now am looking forward to continuing my education and becoming a full stack developer.
As a developer it has been very rewarding for me to have gotten to know and use React to create interactive user interfaces in a simple way and practice when coding has allowed me to improve in JavaScript. React is an excellent tool with which to create interactive applications for mobile, web and other platforms with a simpler design view. It also efficiently updates and renders the correct components when data changes.
I loved it! I learned a lot than I did in my University coding classes.
Everything is really well explained. Everyone has been super helpful. The weather app project was a great challenge. I learned a lot.
This was an enjoyable experience! I didn't realize how much I had learned or how much I would understand at the end. This made starting the project a daunting task to me. Once I started my project, I realized I recognized a lot more code as I was putting together different elements and working through trail and error. It was fun to see that I was able to create so much and it's only been a few weeks!
The basics course has been so wonderful. I am filled with excitement to continue on to the next course! Matt's delivery was fantastic, I feel so confident and ready to start the next steps of this journey... Bring on SheCodes Plus!
Easy to follow classes, especially for someone not as tech-savvy as myself. :) The classes, challenges, and homework submissions are so streamlined. The slack community that they have created is pretty amazing as well!

I'm so grateful for this opportunity. Before SheCodes I've tried to navigate web development on my own, it wasn't at all easy and I very made little progress. My initial goal was to finish this workshop in a month, along the line I got stressed and frustrated. I took a lot of breaks, thankfully the workshop was very flexible, I was able to take my time to finally understand JAVASCRIPT. I'm very excited for the knowledge I've gathered and I'm looking forward to all the wonderful projects I'm going to create.

Coding has always seemed very daunting to me, but the SheCodes basics course was the perfect introduction to coding. While there is a lot of information to take in, it's explained in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming. Having challenges based on the information you learn from a lesson is a great way to apply what you've just learned & helps it make sense in the bigger picture of coding.

The 3 week SheCodes course was the perfect introduction to the coding world! I was able to complete the lessons at my own pace and Matt's explanations were easy to understand. Although I have a lot more to learn, I feel like this course was a great foundation of knowledge.

Initially, I was concerned about not being able to understand coding. So I had been postponing this learning milestone for a long time. When I started with SheCodes, I selected 3 weeks for the basics, and still, I thought I would need some extensions. The 10th day has passed, and I've already completed the last project. What is truly amazing is how SheCodes simplify the complex process of learning such a difficult skill. I am very proud to be a part of this group now. SheCodes Basics Course was the best way to enter the world of web development coding languages. Everything was so clear and great.
The SheCodes Basics course was only 3 weeks, but I cannot believe how much I learnt in that time. I love how Matt breaks everything down into bite-size chunks of information that are easy to digest. Loved playing with the code for our final assignment.

Very complete workshop on responsive design! It was challenging creating a multi-page website from scratch.
I started SheCodes Basic just over a week ago and was having so much fun learning that I completed the course way too fast! I had never coded before and now I just built myself a cute little website for my final project! I was amazed at how much information I had retained so quickly and how naturally I was able to make my ideas come to life! I started the SheCodes workshop after months of wanting to do so - programming had been a curiosity of mine for a while, and I finally got to try it thanks to this workshop. SheCodes has been a wonderful experience. I've learned so much in such a short time and Matt has been a wonderful instructor throughout these courses. This has been a great introduction to the world of coding. The satisfaction from successfully completing each lesson 'challenge', the weekly homework, and the final project of creating a webpage from scratch that uses all the HTML, CSS, and Javascript components, has been rewarding.

I can just recommend the course to everybody, who is thinking about starting with coding. This course was very very interesting for me. Everything was explained very clearly. I was afraid about English, because I am not native English speaker. But I didn't have any problem to understand everything. I managed it even though I am at home with my two-year-old daughter. It was incredibly stimulating when I tried opening my project on my phone and I saw that it was so well responsive... and that it was written by ME! Creating responsive websites is really no simple task, you need to pay attention to a lot of things. But it felt like a stimulating challenge, and I'm proud of what I created!
