The project we had to do for the add-on course was absolutely fun! Having to combine the skills learned in this course with the skills learned from the basics one was a little bit challenging in terms of remembering all the codes, but it was not a struggle as I could just go back to the old lessons without any hassles. Can't wait to do the advanced courses :)
When I enrolled for my first week on SheCodes Basics, I had some knowledge about web development but nothing close what I have learnt these past three weeks. I am excited to finally say that I have programmed my first project without a tutorial from Mr. Matt Delac playing in the background. I finally have something to brag about regarding tech. Learning how to create a weather app using advanced JavaScript techniques, integrating a live API to fetch live data, and managing the code using Git and GitHub was very satisfying. It is so exciting to see the app working and showing the live weather and predicted forecast for cities around the world.
SheCodes is a great place to begin learning how to code. The learning process starts from basic concepts which made it easy for me to understand the lessons. The challenges also helped me to practice what I've learned.
I'm excited to have completed the Shecodes Add-on workshop! But these skills that I couldn't afford so I thought before. From the Basics SheCodes Class I learned HTML, CSS and Java scripts as Coding tools and techniques . The teacher's courses are very good which are full of video lessons. After attending the Basics SheCodes Class, I became confident that I could do it. So I really thanks a lot to Teacher and the entire SHECODES Team.

Good introduction to how to use AI in conjunction with an api and a nice build of skills from the weather app. Can think of differing uses for this in following projects.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course - A great course structure which takes you through the essentials of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I did find that in week 1, I needed far longer than 5 hours to complete it (I completed the course part-time). However, this is entirely subjective, and I found by week 2, I started to complete the tasks much more quickly. Would definitely recommend the course 💜

When I first started I was a complete coding beginner, I couldn't even write a line of code but with SheCodes' expert guidance and supportive learning environment, I've made incredible progress. I can now confidently create my own projects and understand the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was an easy-to-follow approach which made learning a breeze. What an excellent starting point, I highly recommend SheCodes!
As a beginner with no IT background, the course was not that difficult, but it was very challenging especially JavaScript since the lesson are not that in depth but with a bit of practice some lessons were enjoyable to do. The course really does lay a foundation.
The React workshop really helped me bring my coding to the next level. This workshop has definitly helped me gain more confidence in my coding abilities and I am amazed at what I am able to achieve now. This workshop was quite challenging at the start but by the end I was feeling quite confident. Matt was an awesome instructor as always and is very thorough in explaining the concepts.
