Taking this workshop was interesting. I learned of SheCodes from my sister and her friends, the latter of which is also taking this course. First thing I want to say is it is cool how this website is targeted towards women. This is something that is very rare, so it's nice to see women being able to learn a new skill exclusively. I also like how SheCodes can be used from woman around the world. For myself, I enjoyed the class for the most part. Matt did a good job with his lessons and it was easy to find time for them. I also have found, thanks to SheCodes, that coding can be quite fun since you get to create your own things. You don't need to know design or even math, the latter which is very true, and it's been fun being able to make my own page even if it's a simple style. Overall though I'm glad I took this class and hope to take the others in the near future.
Really enjoyed this course! It was challenging and I honestly felt great even if I didn't fully understand something. I have learned so much and I am looking forward to learning so much more from the other courses.
When enrolled in this course I did not know anything about coding, not even what software to use or how to open a new file, and it is amazing that after 3 weeks I am able to build a simple webpage. I am currently using this knowleadge to create my own consulting company's webpage.

Thinking about switching professions or only wanting to learn something so complex sounds scary, but Matt and SheCodes do a great job of explaining, providing the tools to learn, and encouraging engagement. Definitely will keep on going. Perhaps one day I'll be THE developer.
I've done a couple of courses like this before, but it turns out they were, in fact, nothing like this one! this is the most comprehensive course by far and it involves A LOT of practice. I like how in the end you are able to come up with your own solutions that are different from Matt's. to me it means that I've gained a proper understanding of how things work, I'm not just mimicking what the teacher is doing. absolutely recommend!
I wanted to learn to code after I graduated from high school and found out about Shecodes after my sister introduced me to it. Shecodes has made coding to be fun personally by teaching new things step-by-step and with a supportive community within.

React workshop was probably the most intensive out of all workshops yet the most rewarding. It helped me to gain confidence in my coding skills and built the second project mostly independently. However, when I faced a significant issue, the support team was ready to help me and solve it!

The SheCodes Basic course was an awesome stepping stone to learning the basics of coding. The classes were easy to follow and I feel more confident in my abilities after these 3 weeks. Couldn't recommend this course enough for people who want to start learning how to code!

It was completely new world for me in the beginning, but learning with SheCodes is so easy and so much fun! I enjoyed each and every video and homework.
Learning a new skill is challenging but Shecodes made the whole process easy for me to understand how to code and each lesson included additional resources to help me get a better understanding. The entire website is greatly organized and by the time I had to create my final project I felt confident in my abilities to start it. I am so grateful for Shecodes for helping me start my journey in coding!
I've almost completed the 'Pro' workshop, and in such a short amount of time I have learned so much. The self-paced structure is ideal for me and I enjoy the challenges in the modules. Matt is a great teacher and I'd recommend this course!!

SheCodes Responsive workshop is now one of my favourites I've participated so far. It was quite challenging but super fun and exiting to follow. I'm not tired to tell how I've became a fan of Matt's teaching skills and all the vibe the lessons give. This course provides tons of information to learn and practice - following with guidance of supporting team - big thanks to them! And the final project - it was very interesting and challenging to create multiple page website that would be fully rensponsive on different devices. I'm looking forward to enroll into React Workshop.

It was a great experience and gave me more than the fundamentals of coding. I feel like I still to change a few features and practice more JS to include other personalised features. Thanks Matt for the short and sweet videos. It was challenging at times, but every time I could sort an issue by myself I felt great. All valuable tips given were essential. The SheCodes Plus workshop is a great experience! I enjoyed building my own project and it was broken down in such a way that made it easy and enjoyable to follow. Even though some parts were difficult, such as learning how to integrate the API, the videos make it easy to follow along and understand.
This course taught how to structure and present web site content so it is organized in a professional way, and can adapt to screen size of the user. It made sure to reinforce the work environment/process system that is mainstream. I liked that we were given multiple opportunities to practice the things we learned to get used to this process. I was actually distracted from the actual building of the final project by the need to generate better quality content for it. That became my main concern.
This basic workshop helped me to learn the firsts steps about coding, Im make myself proud in every challenge and homework successfully completed
This program was much easier to follow along with than previous programs I've tried in the past, and the slack chat is a real help! Keep in mind that you will have to do your own research and problem-solving to finish some of the challenges, and it's not fully comprehensive. The Basics course has helped me a lot, but I certainly don't know everything about JavaScript yet! I look forward to continuing my learning in the other workshops.

This is a great programme for beginners like me with almost zero knowledge about coding. It gives you a great base. You learn the most important things in such simple language; once you try out what you've learned and find out that it works, you're encouraged to keep going. I recommend it without reserve.

I came to SheCodes with some old school coding experience (circa 2009) and I found the basics workshop to be easy to follow and very thorough. Matt encourages the student to research and I think this is such a huge step in any learning process. Will be moving on to PLUS workshop next!

I'm so glad I did because it has kept my brain active over the summer and I have learned many new skills that I could utilise which I am very grateful for. Despite challenging moments there was always an immense amount of support from the Slack SheCodes Team. Matt's teaching techniques are effective as they are conscise, straighforward yet still informative. I appreciate having this oppourtunity very much!

I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone and everyone! I was recently searching for a new career path and figured I would try something completely out of my comfort zone! With a 2 year old and a full time job, flexibility was really important for me. Luckily for me I came across SheCodes and was able to complete the beginner course on my own time. Definitely hoping to complete more courses and make a career change.
I really enjoyed the classes, super easy and doing the challenges to each module was SUPER helpful! I will definitely do the next modules if I can fit in my schedule! Also doable as a part-time activity after work.

I enjoyed the tutorial so much! The training was challenging, but after finishing the real-life project, I feel excited and motivated to go further. I highly recommend the SheCodes Plus tutorial - you'll get a lot of practice and figure out how things work under the hood.
This course is perfect for visual learners like myself. I will recommend this course to any woman I know would be interested in learning to code. I have learnt so much in such a short time and I am looking forward to the next stage already. As a busy mother of four this self paced course was just what I needed but with the accountability of the deadlines and course work to hand in at the end of each week. I thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop! It was significantly more challenging compared to the Basics workshop, which I appreciated. However, I did find it somewhat frustrating at times, especially when attempting to implement features that weren't explicitly covered. For instance, I struggled to display temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius in the forecast section of my project. Though not required, I eventually submitted my project without that feature. Overall, I would recommend the workshop, but if you're new to coding, be prepared to encounter some frustrating moments along the way!
I received my certificate, and I would like to thank you SheCodes and Matt Delac for your support. My biggest struggle was trying to make my website look exactly how I wanted it to look both on desktop and on mobile. I enjoyed this workshop tremendously. I look forward to taking another class with SheCodes team.
I feel confident with the tools I learned after completing my first project. Ten weeks ago I didn't know anything about coding, after learning the basics and then learning more advanced tools with the first part of SheCodes Plus I can totally code a website on my own even if it's just a landing page. I can also apply the methods I learned in other projects if I need or want to. Looking forward to keep learning and getting more comfortable with coding.

Coding with React makes me feel like a magician. SheCodes have helped me reaching a huge milestone of my life which is to learn coding. Difficult concepts are explained step-by-step with challenges and regular datelines that make it easier to follow the schedule and deliver the final projects while having a lot of fun. A very excellent course that teaches practical application of js knowledge. The maximum amount of useful information you will need for project development. And prepare for the homework of the second week, if you want to make a good design, it may take you a long time 😜

SheCodes Basic was so helpful for me as I am completely new to coding. Matt's video's broke everything down really simply and the video's were so easy to follow. Learning to code with SheCodes is really fun. The lessons with Matt's explanations are very clear, with examples that make it easy to understand. With a background education in Grafic Design and a little bit of experience in SQL I'm really having fun writing my creative thoughts into code, it is designing on a whole other level! I will definetly be back for one of the more in dept workshops! I fully recommand these workshops to anyone interested in learning how to code. 🌟
