It was a really the hardest part of the course. Nevertheless, I'm glad that I managed to finish it and to learn a lot about React tools. It definitely worth it! From zero to budding Hero! 2 weeks ago, I knew nothing about creating even the simplest of webpages... Right now, I know so much and my mind has been opened to the possibilities of what can be done with codes. I highly recommend this basic course in order to get a good foundation for anyone who has never written a line of code before. I can't wait to delve into Shecodes Max next.

What an amazing adventure I have embarked on by joining this course! I never thought I could make it and now I am filled with pride because I have been able to develop my own weather app and I have also managed to add an extra feature to showcase that after this course, the sky is the limit. I am so grateful to have learned so much thanks to the efforts of my amazing instructor Matt and the whole team of she-codes. I can't describe how proud I am of myself, my journey as a front-end developer starts here and no one will be able to stop me now :)

The way Matt transfers knowledge is very easy to understand, and it is beginners very friendly. Personally speaking, it is a very good learning experience. I can manage my studying time without any pressure as long as I finish all the challenges and homework. Overall, it is a very pleasant learning experience! I gained a lot. I'll continue with my next course, and excited about upcoming challenges!
I enjoyed learning about how to make websites more responsive. I also found this section to be a nice refresher of CSS and HTML, diving deeper into those after an intensive Javascript course was helpful for me as it is the foundation for all websites. I did find the work on this particular section to be a bit repetitive, as we coded the same site twice. I chose a different final project to try something new. However, I appreciated that for this final project we were allowed to choose from 3 different designs. I chose one of the designs that we had not previously done. I'm glad that there were options and that I was able to code my project without video tutorials as the tutorials were following a different design.
As a person who loves learning, this was the best! Matt is a gifted intstructor who will guide you into the world of coding with great ease and fun. At times, I felt like he was speaking to me in person, as he was predicting the mistakes I was going to make! It was a really fulfulling experience that I would recommend to anyone, despite what intentions one has career-wise. Coding is for everyone! Can't wait for the next workshop!

I found this course to be very challenging but at the same time I learned ALOT about javascript. I have a better understanding of the basic concepts. I have alot more to learn but this course made me feel like I can learn it and it's not impossible.
Learning React was very challenging, but I truly learned a lot with this workshop. Be ready to have some frustrating days along the way :P, but it is totally worth it!
I really enjoyed this workshop. Despite having some previous knowledge in these programming languages, there is always something new to learn.

I have always been intimidated by all the different coding languages and formats, despite my interest in coding. SheCodes has been an excellent resource for a beginner like me. The videos are easy to follow and short, which means it is not tedious at all! This workshop has been an interesting experience and I am amazed at how much I can do after only the basics workshop.

I keep getting surprised by how much I learn each week through these courses. Each time I'm ready to give up, a new way of coding is introduced and instantly catches my interest again. I really enjoyed this little bootcamp! It's a deepdive into web development and really lets you get a feel for the day-to-day of an engineer. I enjoyed watching the videos, found the challenges engaging and had lots of fun completing the final coursework!

My goal for months has been to venture into and grow a career in coding which I was struggling with due to financial constraints. SheCodes came along at just the right time! Starting the program, I have been able to learn and develop myself and I am hopeful the sky is my stepping stone I highly recommend SheCodes to every female who wants to learn coding because I learned a lot!
I was always considering to learn coding sometime and finally I made the decision that my goal to 2022 was to start it somewhere. I came across SheCodes and I decided to take it up. So far I have no regrets and I am enjoying the learning process so far.

The Basic Workshop had easy to navigate lessons, challenges, and homework. The program provides great support through Slack with quick response times from instructors and other users. As someone who is completely new to coding, I would recommend this program to others hoping to learn an introduction to coding.

I never thought I would finish my course in about one month :) I am really happy with Matt's lectures but I wish to have had more projects in this course, nevertheless, it was very challenging, especially with Javascript. Back in SheCodes basic, I wasn't even able to read formulas from Javascript when I search on the internet, it was so confusing and now I can understand them and apply them, without a problem :) I am definitely looking forward to doing the next courses!

It was an amazing experience.
I programmed a Weather App to enable users search for their current location, the location they reside, and other locations. I also used a metric unit to enable users toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit degree, dependent on their location. It has been a mind blowing journey and it was really tasking, glad I got the result I needed.
