Very nice workshop! I enjoyed learning about grids, transform, and other CSS properties! I feel like I'm getting more used to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and it was fun putting the project together using all of those! I love how everything is taught in an easy to understand way and you can always go back to the video to refresh your memory and understand it better. I also really like the challenges and how they give you good practice on doing something you just learned about so you get more knowledge and experience. I feel like I'm learning a lot!
I didn't know if I liked coding, but I like puzzling so I thought I'd give it a try. Great course, with good explanations and exercises to help you learn the basics. It has me wanting more, so as soon as I have time I will go for the next workshop!

Matt's videos are very informal and easy to follow, and the resources provided makes it coding extremely accessible to anyone who wants to try and build their own projects. I would highly recommend all of the SheCodes Workshops to all women who want to learn something new, challenge themselves or try a new career! It requires time to actually learn and get lots of stuff, but you are not alone of this journey and it's definitely worth trying out!
I really enjoyed making this weather-app project! I was able to use many things I learned before as well as learned a lot of new skills and techniques in coding, such as API, GIT, Hosting, etc.
I delved into a little bit of coding over 20 yrs ago and came back. I never understood what it all was until I took the SheCodes Basic course. I’m delighted to say that Matt’s courses are very easy to understand and has a great staff to assist when any problems arise while doing homework or challenges. I recommend anyone wanting to even dabble in coding to try SheCodes. You won’t regret it.

SheCodes Basics was a great way of starting an adventure with coding. It was a well-structured course with many challenges and homeworks, but with all flexibility I needed. It presented the foundation knowledge step by step, making it easy to understand and follow. I enjoyed a lot and I am highly motivated to continue with SheCodes Plus course!

I've loved this course! It's really well paced, easy to follow and allows you to get hands on with building sites straight away. The final project is a lot of fun and allows you to be super creative.

Learning React was a challenge that I really enjoyed. Impressive to see how far I've come in programming in just a few months with SheCodes. Coding was completely new to me, but I really enjoyed it. I've learned a lot from SheCodes Basics. Everything is explained step by step, but is still challenging which makes is a lot of fun. What an enjoyable experience! 😊 As a graphic/website designer I knew the very basics and have "winged" my way up until this point on my own website and learning along the way for client work. I still learnt SO much during this basics course that has given me complete clarity and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and more confidence in my abilities and work. The classes are super easy to follow and the projects are really satisfying as you can (literally) see the results of your hard work. Thank you Matt for creating such an excellent platform to learn with. Cannot wait to complete the rest of the courses!

Great, approachable way to get into coding. I felt like there was a helping hand available if I needed it, but also encourage to find the answers yourself. Great practical exercises and very helpful to see a solution video of Matt explaining his logic and method of approaching a coding exercise as opposed to just 'getting the answer to it' - that's very valuable for a novice coder to see how an experienced coder would approach the same problem.
That was a very interesting project! Day by day I feel myself more self-confident in coding. Cannot wait to start SheCodes+😻 Good luck to everybody in coding!!😎😎
Having very little experience with coding before taking this course, I was a little apprehensive about taking it. There was no need to be apprehensive as Matt did a great job in the videos of explaining how everything works! And I had fun learning and making the final project.

After taking the previous workshops with Shecodes, this add-on workshop helped me really sharpen my vanilla CSS skills and made me more comfortable with its tools. It helped me strengthen my web design fundamental skills. Workshop went at a comfortable pace while also pushing you to build a webpage in a few days.
I can't describe how useful and practical this course was for me. As someone who had no knowledge of coding, I was able to easily learn and apply the concepts. The positive point of this course was that it was divided into short sessions. There were also very good challenges that helped to consolidate the content in my mind. Thanks, Matt! Thank you for providing the opportunity to learn React. It was by far the most challenging out of all the workshops, but I feel it was a valuable skill to gain. The lessons from Matt were well-guided and I was able to follow them along the way. After starting with SheCodes Basic 13 months ago, I feel I have come a long way and now more confident in applying my newly gained front-end skills to my job.
Still loving SheCodes. This course set me up with so much knowledge in a short space of time. It didn't feel particularly challenging to learn, but before I knew it I could code a whole responsive website from scratch. I particularly enjoyed following the step by step lessons when working towards the final project. I was able to use the foundations of the final project to create my own CV website in order to start applying for jobs.
This portion of the SheCodes program was instrumental to my knowledge as a coder. Being able to explain the tips and tricks of creating responsive applications in such a concise way was exactly what I needed! Thank you SheCodes!!

This was a great starting point for me to discover if I could "code". I loved the way the lessons built on from one another in a logical sequence allowing me to build my knowledge in a way that wasn't overwhelming which kept me engaged & eager to move on to the next topic.
