I thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Basic Workshop. It allowed me to maintain my full-time job and be fulfill my duty as a single parent, while coding part-time in the evenings. As someone with a college background in Cybersecurity , the workshop served as an excellent refresher for me. However, the knowledge that I have gained will create a smoother transition into a Software Engineering career. I was able to enhance and manifest my skills in programming and web development. Overall, I look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.

The basics add-on allowed me to consolidate some of my learning after taking a break after the basics course, whilst also providing additional learning and challenges to enhance my skills.

This has been the start to something absolutely incredible! Over the past three weeks, I deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, building on my prior experience in web development. Initially, I revisited HTML to refine my content structuring skills, then delved into CSS to enhance my styling techniques, mastering responsive design with flexbox and grid layout. JavaScript posed the greatest challenge, but I enjoyed learning DOM manipulation, event handling, and dynamic content creation. This journey culminated in a project that I am incredibly proud of a functional, responsive web application showcasing my ability to integrate these technologies effectively. Submitting this project marks a significant milestone in my development journey. It highlights the progress I've made in a short time and boosts my confidence to tackle more complex projects in the future. Shecode basics was a very challenging course as for someone who just started out with coding from a non IT background but I loved the fact that they introduce you to each language step by step while taking you through all the example and challenges. I loved that they are always willing to help when you get stuck and they reply fast. The course is way too enjoyable, you will enjoy every part of it even the challenges . Thank you shecode for making this journey so much easier.
I really enjoyed further delving into JS and the oppurtunities it provides to further the functionalities of the pages I've developed.

SheCodes has been informative, challenging, and a game changer for me as a first-time coder. The course is well structured with step-by-step lessons that break down the course beautifully. Getting stuck is part of the game but giving up is not an option. Trail and error works best for this course try every trick in the book until you get it right!
