I was looking to add a new skill and possibly something to help me if I decide to change careers. I decided to try coding and SheCodes, and I was hooked. The lessons are short and simple enough to follow and recreate the assignments without too much issue. If I had an issue, someone was there to help me!

After I completed SheCodes Basics I immediately wanted to take the Add-On Project. I recommend taking the SheCodes Basics along with the Add-On shortly after. I have had a great experience so far with both workshops. I learned a lot in 1 week and very proud of myself. I developed the confidence to learn something new and follow through when things got challenging. I am excited to see what other skills I can develop with the other SheCodes workshops.

I decided to take on this course and it's been great. I used to do programming at my old job, however since I stopped being a software engineer. I noticed I started to slowly forget what I learnt. I took on this course to jog my memory and it helped a lot! I didn't notice how much I missed coding until I did this course. The teaching was fantastic from Matt, the videos along with the tasks to do were so fun. The SheCodes team was amazing and they made sure to answer any questions we had.
As someone with no coding knowledge whatsoever, I was initially hesitant to delve into the world of web development, but these workshops exceeded all my expectations and left me feeling inspired and confident. The bootcamp helped me in understanding the core concepts of React; such as components, JSX syntax, and the how to create functional components. I was a little bit worried I wouldn't be able to follow (what's before absolute beginner?), but 3 weeks later I am so glad I went for it! I was immediately hooked by the workshop and looked forward to login in at the end of the day. Matt's lessons are remarkably clear and engaging, and I loved being able to immediately apply my newly acquired knowledge in the exercises. SheCodes allowed me to surprise myself and make myself proud, I had way more fun than I ever thought I would while learning how to code. It's not that complicated, after all!

Time went so quickly whilst doing this course which can only mean one thing.....I LOVED IT!!!! I have always been curious as to how websites are made so when I saw this course I jumped at the chance to do it. Matt does a wonderful job at explaining everything with easy to follow videos and smart little challenges at the end of each section. My advice to everyone is to take lots and lots of notes! Overall a very informative, enjoyable course to do, very happy indeed.
This was a pretty easy going course. Learning how to make my code responsive for different devices was a lot of fun and challenging.
Run and easy to follow
I began the journey, March 2023, of teaching myself HTML, CSS, JavaScript by using various platforms for guidance, but none of them gave me the structure I so needed. I felt as though I was spinning my wheels in tutorial hell, not knowing when enough was enough to proceed forward. Thanks Matt for instructing, articulating, demonstrating and providing the structure I need to excel.

I had such a great time learning on SheCodes. As a future Computer Science student this fall, I learned so much more about Coding and Web development. Great Project Exercise
This responsive workshop was very challenging and fun to attend. I learn a lot about how to make web pages responsive and had a lot of fun learning how to use grids! After I completed my final project, I was very proud of what I've acomplished and I am very proud of my portfolio page. I have to thank Matt for his amazing explanations, which helped me to get through the workshop very smoothly!
This coding experience has been nothing short of incredible. I've learned so much, and before I entered the SheCodes program, I thought coding was difficult and difficult to grasp, but as I progressed, I enjoyed my journey, and with more practice, I believe coding could be a career path I'd like to pursue.

Where to start, this workshop taught me so much. There's so much information jam-packed into each of the videos from Matt. I appreciate the content is fairly short, so I can easily re-watch. I will be repeating this course because each time I go back, I find something new. Love this class!

Completing the SheCodes Basic program feels like a dream. I never used to be conversant with technology. Now, I can say I can work with three programming languages confidently. The SheCodes team has worked excellently well to make learning here so easy. With an easy-to-navigate website and a team to support and answer your questions when you need guidance, learning doesn't feel at all problematic. The SheCodes+ course was sometimes difficult and confusing for me, but quite exciting. Each lesson includes only the most necessary information for beginners, and helps to learn Java script gradually and without stress.
