Enrolling in SheCodes was both nerve-racking and exciting, as I had never learned anything about HTML, CSS, or JavaScript before. Despite my initial fears, the journey has been incredibly rewarding. The course was structured in a way that made these complex concepts easy to grasp, even for a complete beginner like myself. The support from the instructors and the community helped me gain confidence in coding, and I found myself enjoying the process more than I expected. SheCodes has not only equipped me with valuable skills but also sparked a new passion for web development.
Amazing and fulfilling course!
It has been a challenging few weeks, getting to know the code, understanding new concepts and fighting bugs left and right. But the project has been extremely rewarding and more complex than I anticipated. I can not wait to continue learning and expanding my knowledge.
The workshop provided some helpful tips for how to navigate networking, building your portfolio and job hunting. I wish the workshop went more in-depth with resume building and interviewing best practices, but it gave a good starting point and I'm happy that I already started building my portfolio from a previous SheCodes workshop.

I found this course to be very enjoyable & it expanded even more on what I had previously learned. This allowed me to gain confidence in my coding skills. Some of the challenges are challenging but only in the best ways, with the right mind-set & problem-solving skills, nothing is too difficult to understand or put into practice.
The coding program is effective which has provided me with skills and knowledge for web development. Matt is knowledgeable and supportive guiding us throughout. The hands-on approach to learning allowed me to immediately apply what I learned, which solidified my understanding of front-end development concepts. This program has prepared me for the future.
This section of the course was a lit bit hard for me , it even delayed my finishing of the course but i really enjoyed and learned from my mistakes. Learned about React basics, States, Events, Forms, Conditional Rendering, Loops, AJAX, External Components.
The advance lesson are a bit difficult but with time i got to understand.
It has been a great experience being part of the SheCodes society. I am excited to continue learning. I appreciate mostly the SheCodes team and systems that are put in place that ensure students are well supported.
I absolutely loved Shecodes Plus! It was so challenging, but i was proudly showing off the weather app I created to all my friends and family. So much fun!

I loved the UI of the app and thought the amount of work every week was perfect.
SheCodes Plus provides a solid introduction to fundamental JavaScript concepts, making it a great starting point for beginners. This part of the course covers key topics like using forEach loops and retrieving data from APIs with tools such as Axios, guiding you towards creating fully functional dynamic apps. A a bit more emphasis on explaining the underlying logic, particularly around loops, would be helpful, in order to train your brain to understand and develop code independently. Overall, the learning experience has been enjoyable, and the course offers a strong foundation in JavaScript, perfect for those just beginning their coding journey.
Learnt how to manipulate large amounts of data on Python and creating graphs. Great step by step instructions on the basics of using Python.

I thouroughly enjoyed this course. I have always had a love for tech and creativity. I feel web development is the best path when combining the two. The SheCodes Basic course is very well-structured because it teaches you the sub-topics in small batches. This is great especially if you're learning something new. The coding of my final project was the most fun I've had in a while. I must admit though that I did take a while to find a topic to code about. Also I was so excited to coded that I did so without laying down a design first, and that led me to changing my code a lot. However, once I found my topic and started creating this web page, I was on a roll and, in the end, I am super happy with my final result.
The SheCodes Basics workshop has been incredibly beneficial as a foundation for advanced courses. The lessons are explained in a clear and easy-to-understand manner, and the challenges provided after each lesson are engaging and helpful. I truly enjoyed SheCodes Basics. I already had a little knowledge of HTML + CSS, and this course was a great refresher. It then impressed me further with how much it taught me in such a short time. It has been quite the week, but I am finally getting the hang of it. The workshop is pretty detailed, when you get lost, you can go back and review it. The community is also very helpful. There are several times I got stranded, but help was only hours away. Learning is a fun-loving process and I look forward to the next workshops.

I really enjoyed this workshop. As I keep going, it just cements in me that I can do hard things. Matt is a really great instructor. And I enjoy the fact that he does not edit out his mistakes or comes off as if he knows everything there is. I like that he Googles when he's stuck and acknowledges when he makes mistakes and assures you not to panic if it happens to you. It helps to know that its okay to make mistakes and that there is always a way to fix them.

I have no prior knowledge about coding until I came across SheCodes on one of the groups I belong to on Facebook. I put in my application and that's one of the best decisions I've made so far. I thought coding is men's thing, but SheCodes is changing the narratives. I believe with everything I've learnt I can change my family financial status.

My passion is making a contribution in the world and now I found that I can solve some of the world's problems by coding which I knew about when I started university.
